Thanks to Novangel for a copy of Gone Home! If memory serves, a buddy really wanted me to play this game like three years ago. Heard it was one of those artistic type games.

I also hear it's one of those games a lot of people dislike because of how popular it got. Similar to the FNAF games where the games themselves may be just fine and dandy but the majority of the negativity people show towards it is just due to it's popularity.
Maybe that's the case, maybe not. Looking forward to playing it and then in turn doing some digging about it.

Most people dislike it because the press pushed it as this great piece of art that surpassed everything before it. Personally I tried to see what was so great about it, but couldn't really see it. That's just me tho.
I say play it come to your own conclusions.
