I live in the US and I ain't sure where the OP lives, but I did research and it is actually legal for an adult to go out with a minor. I did this research because when me (15 years) and my girlfriend (19 years) were sztill starting out with our relationship back in July, obviously we both worried if it would get us in trouble. I found that as long as there's no sex, just purely romance, then we should and will be okay. However, laws here in Pennsylvania seem to state that even if I'm 16 and consent to sex with her (won't happen; abstinence is nature's condom) it'd still be statuatory rape. You can say I did my homework. However, the so-called honors students are my school are calling her a pedophile up and down everyday. Thing is, she's not. While I'd be a bit concerned, I know alot of mature 15 year olds, and if she is homeschooled, from my experience, she may be one of them. And this isn't pedophilia at all. And following that, it is illegal, but it shouldn't be, since it's consensual by both parties. And following [i]that[/i], having someone over for the night doesn't always mean sex.
