I'm aware of a pedophile situation IRL and I feel like shit.
If you had a 15 year-old girl, would you let her date a 23 year-old man?
Depends on the mental status of the girl and the man and what their purpose is. If she is fully capable of dating him on a mental level, why should I destroy it? Because he's older? That's a pathetic reason. A closed minded person would instantly forbid the girl from dating the man and probably call the police. Someone without their head up their ass would look at it from multiple perspectives and reflect the situation.

Or maybe just any fucking half-decent parent would.
What does that even mean? Don't spew out that bullshit about a girl being "beyond her years" mentally.
Even if the girl is beyond her years, she has a lot to learn about relationships.
Man, I started out on NHL '94 for Sega Genesis.
That's like trying to relate to someone who started out on NHL '98.
They're just not the same..
Typical. You've never meant anyone like that so you assume they don't exist.

Talk about having your head up your ass...
Won't you just admit that a 23-year old man dating a 15-year old girl is fucking creepy?

That's a perspective.

I can't if I don't understand the situation fully. He could be a really good guy that found something in the girl. She could also not be your dumb-ass 15 year slut and understand the difference.
Maybe they aren't, I don't know, so I can't judge them.

You know what I can't stand about people like you?
You can never connect with someone on your own personal level, so you go for young teenage girls who will do anything, anything to be with an older guy. It usually doesn't matter how ugly he is because the girl feels like she is with someone more sophisticated.
The fact that the girl wants to be with someone 8 years older is evidence enough that she is not mature, or rational for that matter.
Shouldn't the guy be in college? Does he just leave school to visit her? If he's not in school, then he's probably not as responsible as everyone seems to think.

I take that as a No.

You think something doesn't exist because you haven't seen it, thus it doesn't exist period.
And what does college have to do with any of this? How does not being in college make someone irresponsible?
human been
no
You can't prove they intend to have sex.
I read the thread title expecting a 40 year old man and an 8 year old...
OP is disappointing...
haha, ok, so a 23 year old man is just going to have a "relationship" with a 15 year old girl and talk about school subjects?
LOL.
I take that as a No.
Can't say it is or isn't till I know the situation more.

This.

All I know is I wouldn't date someone eight years younger than myself and if any of my friends did I would probably still find it creepy. I probably wouldn't even date someone five years younger than myself. There's just to much difference in maturity and age for me to even consider doing something like that, and at that age she likely isn't even fully developed yet. Maybe that makes me close-minded, or maybe I'm a normal person. I dunno.

Normal in the sense you'd be like 90% of everyone else that judges a book by it's cover yes, but enough about that. That sounded like a personal attack on you, which it wasn't, I had no other way of putting it though.
Chances are though the younger one isn't as mentally developed as the older one is. I'm simply saying a very small amount of people in the world are beyond their years mentally and most people can't fathom this because they don't know anyone like that.
As I said before, it's a gift knowing people like that because it shatters a very powerful barrier that society has placed, that is, to say anyone under 18+ is not capable of true mental maturity, understanding, and intellect regardless of what scientists say about the frontal lobe.
I think a 15-year-old girl who's beyond and 18-year-old mental maturity isn't going to fall into that OMG OLDER MAN stuff and date some creepy 25-year-old mouth breather.
This.
this what?
this what?
He's saying that he agrees with the post he quoted and those are also his thoughts on the topic.
Was that really that difficult to understand?
this what?
I'm saying I agree with your above statement.

I think you are jealous, just because girls will always go for older guys.

What do you think a pedophile is?
This be mine;

Seal of approval.
Just mind your own business.
I mean seriously? Why do you even care if you don't know their name?
And If you really DO care and if I where you I'd be more concerned about REAL pedophilia instead...
In the world's latest reply;
So my father's wife came out of my grandmother's vagina? What the christ...
I'm pretty sure my grandmother died in like '77 or something...
Well, you didn't specify. Now I'm going to cut myself and cry for being wrong.
But, anyway, as I said, it's really none of your business. (To the OP, I know this has basically been resolved but whatever.) Granted, it's creepy as hell if they're "boyfriend and girlfriend," but as a person who's been to a few meet 'n greets for homeschooled kids, I can safely say this word is tossed around more than the letter E. I wouldn't worry about it. I'd at least hope she's got half a braincell to not do something stupid (As in; be forced) with him. Or even vice versa.
I would assume they're just friends. Well. I'd hope.
Edit: Your father and his wife, okay, books boxes and clocks please.
Sorry, I just thinking of how my sister is a highschool freshman and how immature she is.
And then I think about how old 23 is... And how I'm a mature 17 year old (I started college early) and how I'm not even ready for a sexual relationship. Then again, I have high standards for when I think sex is ok.
There's no such thing as a mature 17 year old. Anyone who's 17 and think they're mature are annoying little shits.

How fucking full of yourself are you?!
Just because you went to college early doesn't make you 'mature'
Fuck being mature, I'd rather laugh at childish jokes, drink myself into oblivion on weekends and do stupid shit then be all serious all the time.
Tell her parents....
Someone in my college group is house sitting for a couple of friends. Her friends daughter is staying with her while her parents are away. Her cousin wants to have her boyfriend over for the night and my friend said she wouldn't tell anyone along as she could host a party over at the house. The problem is, the daughter is 15 and her boyfriend is 23.
I don't even know any of their names, I just know the station and I feel terrible. There's nothing that pisses me off more than pedophilia, and now that I know about a situation I feel responsible as a citizen and a human been. I mean, that's a fucking 8 year difference and the daughter is just a highschool freshman. She isn't even at the legal age yet (which is 16). I'm pretty sure she meet him online as she is home-schooled (that's what I gathered from the conversation).
I just wanted to talk about it with somebody...
I asked my friend and he said pedophilia was 13- in his eyes, but that she was probably being taken advantage of.
What do you think a pedophile is?
P.S. I  how I get bad spelling ratings when it is my grammar that is incorrect.
Just remember spell human "being" correctly. We already are losing our humanity. :lol;
INB Late rating. I'm in third place on this, dammit.
