It pretty much boils down to "Just gotta get through this shit, then I can go home and play video games"
My family is my motivation.
I spent the better portion of my life without food, money, and for a while, even a home, in some third world ghetto where people were afraid to go there since it's full of crime and awful people. No one would help at all and we barely scraped by, sometimes going weeks with nothing more than a few crackers. Now that I'm finally over here in America, my biggest motivation is being a good person, helping people out, and just generally making people happy. As well as making sure I enjoy what I have now, and never forgetting where I came from. EDIT: Thanks for the thread by the way, it's good reminder
dunno, i kinda just roll with the punches
Become a well known example in the medical world.
You should specify explicitly that you want to be a good example, because I could totally be an example if I wanted to - a really fucked up example of what not to do. After all, you don't want to be Zonesylvania, the world's first Medical Serial Killer, the first example of Indian serial killings in the medical field. You want to be Zonesylvania, masculine bringer that can fight death with his fists.

If I were to dissect my motivations I would have to say there are several. One is a pretty basic pursuit of various emotions, types of pleasure etc. So pretty much doing things because it feels good and is enjoyable. Other than that I suppose there is the whole following your dreams thing. Personally I think that one of the most important facets of your life is what you will eventually leave behind, and I think that knowledge of some sort is a very good thing to leave behind; Knowledge is power as they say. Ideally I would want to get involved in home scientific field and help figure out something that no one else has before, hopefully something that can help people long after I am dead. In a nutshell: Leave something good behind and enjoy life.
Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.
To experience as much as possible. Good, bad, beautiful, ugly, etc. Also to just be happy.
I want people to look at me and be like 'damn, if he can make his dreams come true, so can I!'
This one girl... and being technically proficient at guitar plus mastering my knowledge of audio production
I just don't have the strength to try and kill myself anymore. I'm not even sure what my motivations for my life are right now given my original plans fell through, so I guess try and live it day by day.
The desire to not end up like the people I pity. The desire to have some of the experiences YouTube has shown me over the years. And, this one girl...
The knowledge that if I work hard, be as kind and open-minded I can, fall in love with a beautiful woman and have beautiful children full of potential and succeed in my career and in life generally, I'll be able to build a fantastic legacy that will lead up to eternal and inspiring final thoughts [sp]install gentoo you fuckin plebs[/sp]
The fact that my actions can have consequences for me and those around me. I aim for them to be as positive as they can be, even if they are the most minor thing.
Because I want to be a better me. If I can: I want to be the best me. Because I don't just want to live life: I want to experience life.
turkish food
Immersive role-playing games.
My loved ones, my partner and my art.
its not about the money, its about the knowledge.
Make a game and hopefully it'll make somebody happy.
To build a new and wonderful world, through programming said world
Getting enough money to move somewhere far away
Creativity and finding the person who I can share mutual happiness with every day.
I love making new ideas and trying to get people see things in a new perspective. I always been an out of the box thinker. The biggest issues finding ways to make these ideas easier to share with others The other issue is trying to get other think up original ideas. I care more about what unqie thoughts you come up with then my own.
Motivation? To hopefully wake up not dead. And to be a voice actor there's that too.
