• Facepunch, what are your greatest motivations in life?

non-material objects, mental clarity, great friends I can rely on and a future special someone who will re-shape the way I am into someone better, no longer feel lost and less depressed. I like to meet strange quirky people and get an idea of how their lives are or who they are as a person, as least pretentious or "reee normies" as it sounds I find people who are so deep into mainstream culture rather bland and boring to be around with. That's why most of my friends are weird, have internet interests and lurk forums, boards or are involved with fandoms and online cultures, or in general just unique and different as a person from their hobbies and interests. What makes me go outside to a major city near-by and admire the uniqueness people have. Too bad i'm shitty socially otherwise I'd have more friends :suicide:
a future special someone who will re-shape the way I am into someone better.
You need to re-shape yourself into someone better BEFORE finding that "future special someone", that's the biggest mistake most people make.
not being dead is pretty great most of the time
I don't really have any motivations in life.
My main motivation is to make something of myself. I feel like I've got potential, I can be whatever I want as long as I apply myself to it and stick with it. I temper my expectations, of course, and my goals are usually easy to achieve, since I try to play to my strengths. My main goals right now are to be a New York journalist with a loft apartment and a job that lets me travel, and I'm intently focusing myself toward a career in food, culture, or architecture magazine writing to achieve that.
Besides my job my life doesn't have much going on, so I look forwards to the almighty BANK I MAKE AT WORK.
Don't really have a goal. The primary drive to make me do things seems to be fear and avoidance of boredom, depression and stress.
Sleeping.
Make movies
To crush my enemies, to see them driven before me, and to hear the lamentations of their women!
To become a better person and who I want to be
