Oh god... for my password I use for most services (Disqus, FP, pretty much any internet forum): 5 minutes. My Gmail password would take 11 years though. I think I'm safe there, for now. My desktop password: 275 years. It's a bunch of somewhat-random letters, numbers, and characters that are only meaningful to me, and don't represent anything.

They check through some common passwords and then let their program have a go at it. Best password would be letters, numbers and all sorts of dingbats.
