Good luck today, everyone.
The day of reckoning is here, just hoping at least for a B in English & history really.
Good luck to everyone today. I'm on the train to get my results now.

Neat, I 100%'d one of my History exams :v:
Good luck everyone picking theirs up now, I just got mine and can safely say I passed maths and life is back on track :v: Final GCSE Results: 7 A*s = Spanish, RE, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, IT 1 A = DT 2 Bs = English (lit), English (lang) Fuck English lol, but I'm happy with those Bs considering I got 2 Cs, twice last year, so my coursework and lit exam this year managed to bump it up luckily
Did my business a year early. Going into school soon to find out what it is, I'm nervous.
Just got my GCSEs... I'm really really happy with what I got. Media Studies Single Award: A Media Studies Double Award: A Biology: A Chemistry: A English Language: A* English Literature A* French: B Geography: B Maths: B Physics: C :v: ICT: A* (TBC) Bring on A levels then, eh? [editline]23rd August 2012[/editline] Oh god 99% in both of my english papers I did in June
Got my GCSE results. A - Religious Education/Studies (whatever you wanna call it) A - English Language B - English Literature B - German A* - Chemistry A* - Physics A* - Biology (I think I dropped 9 marks out of 400 :v:) A* - Systems and Control (Full marks in the exam! :v:) A - Modern History A - Maths Distinction - ICT (Counts as two GCSEs :v:) Overall I'm very happy with my results, especially as I wasn't expecting that A in Language but I am really pissed off about my Maths results because I wanted, and not to seem big headed, but expected an A*. The more irritating thing about it is how I was 1 mark off my A*. Oh well, as long as I get to do the A Levels I want to do, which are: Chemistry, Physics and Further Maths.
GCSEs here lads: B - Science (A in physics, Cs in Biology and Chemistry) A* - Graphics A - RE A* - English Literature A - English Language C - History C - Maths M (Merit) - ICT I'm very happy with what I got. I passed everything which is the main thing, and my grades are what I need to get into College. Chuffed the the A*s too, wasn't expecting them. I'm also relieved I passed maths as that is my weakest subject. Well done to everyone else who got their results :)
Hahaha mine are terrible in comparison to everyone else here. D - OCR Maths C - D&T Resistant Materials D - English lit D - English lang C - Science A D - Additional Science G - Religious Studies D - History Modern World B - OCR ICT Overall B - OCR ICT Webpage Creation [editline]23rd August 2012[/editline] so I'm probably going to be stuck doing a BTEC for the next 2 years with a bunch of dumb people (I'd just like to note that I got these grades because of lack of effort, not because I have an extra chromosome)

You can claim it was a lack of effort all you want. At the end of the day, your grades are just as bad as the people you deem stupid, and grades are the only thing that matters. How do you know they weren't just lacking effort, rather than intellectual ability? If only the world worked on your word, I'd be a President by now. "Ah, fuck my grades, I'm smart really. I just didn't bother!" [editline]23rd August 2012[/editline] Just sharing it, as I was told the same thing by my father. I flunked my A-levels, I flunked it hard. Then I said the same thing as you, that I am actually smart, I just didn't bother studying. Dad told me it doesn't matter jack-shit what I think, the fact is at the end of the day, my grades matter, and as far as everyone else is concerned, they're all shit. So they couldn't care less if I'm smart, or stupid. If I don't get the grades, I don't exist to them.

I might still be able to get A-Levels, we'll have to see later on when I go to enroll.
Best of luck man, just keep on fighting. If you don't give up, you'll end up with the course you want, even if you gotta take different routes.
Not looking so good for me.. Geography - G Maths - D English - C Science - D Additional Science - D ICT - D Media Studies - D Graphic Products - D Majority of my grades were Ds, I needed at least 4 Cs to get into the course I wanted to do for college, guess I'll have to keep on struggling.
Chemistry: C Physics: C English Language: A English Literature: A I.C.T: A History: B H.E: B Maths: B Feels good; I was really struggling with the sciences, so I'm just happy that I passed.

I didn't do a single bit of revision when I was doing them and I walked out with 4A*'s... and I don't consider myself particularly intelligent. The no revision thing doesn't work well with a levels, though.
