very beautiful and sad at the same time, best listen to with both headphones on as a duet between the singer and himself happens at the climax of the song and is personally tear jerking and i've met many other people who say the same thing about it.
Probably one of the most emotional songs that comes to mind, the climax is just incredible.

I have a very particularly awesome and beautiful memory of this song, so hearing it brings back some fantastic memories. It's also wonderfully optimistic.

I've always preferred Dream Theater's more heavy metal / hard rock stuff. Good for you if you like it, but personally I really, really hate their ballads.

I love everything they have done so far, ballads and heavier songs both.

Most of their more metal songs are epic, but not beautiful.
For average listening, I usually opt for the more metal songs myself. But I still love Petrucci's melodic, slow, and incredible guitar playing no matter what song it is.

The only reason I liked Blade Runner at first was because I loved Terminator and Indiana Jones.
It can be a confusing movie, but just watch it like you would listen to prog rock. :smug:
