There's usually 2 nuts to hold it in place, one on each side of the guard.
Happened to my €700,- Fender Jaguar, expected a bit more build quality from it. :smith:
Was an easy fix though.
I bought a second hand Logitech Momo Steering wheel, the cable for the foot pedals broke so I soldered it back together and made a splint out of tape and electrical tubing.[B]

Almost forgot, I had a Solex (it's a bicycle with a little engine on front with a handle on it, so you can put it on the wheel, it's friction based) and the cable from the gas handle broke.
The good thing about such a simple construction of the Solex is, that you can see the carburettor and the cable attaches to something on the outside.
I took a piece of string and secured it to that point, I could now give gas by pulling the string and get home. :buddy:

Dead earbuds + Dead RC car + random ass 2inch speakers + soldering iron.

Took the earbuds cabling, hooked it into the speakers with the soldering iron, glued the tires from the RC car to the speakers, so it sat on my ear (fit just perfectly).

Named them, "Treadphones."

Well few weeks ago at the office I made pistol crossbow out of a ruler, tape, rubbers bands and some cardboard. It could pierce a milk carton with a pencil easily.

Oh and a miniature trebuchet out of pencils, the same rubber bands and lots of tape. It could throw an eraser like 10m.
