actually you don't know. but humor me and share how it is you know? the only evidence ever presented for ghosts is blurry cameras and word of mouth. if you take that kind of evidence seriously, i feel sorry for you. [editline]13th February 2011[/editline] define being close-minded?
The way I see it is believing so strongly on something that you completely refuse to see the other side of things. It's refusal to even think, for one second, that anything other than what you believe is the truth. And with that definition, people can be closed minded about a lot of things. Like win the discussion we are having right now, I could see you as closed minded, and you could see me as closed minded. In the end it comes down to what side of the argument you support.
how do i know? experience. How do you know? no experience. i know because i have experienced super natural things in my life. You think you know because you havnt experienced anything. Your just one of the millions of people who mock people for what they know but who are too stupid to understand.
i find it ironic that someone who can't tell the difference between you're and your is calling people stupid but each to his own. and your experience certainly has a logical explanation. In my old house the doors would open and close randomly. It was the cat.
In my old house the doors would open and close randomly. It was the cat.
it must have been a black cat.
it must have been a black cat.
Nope it was orange and black and it looked like Garfield.

I've given you all the evidence I could give you, and you've gotten your opinions on it, so really there's nothing more to be said of this discussion (which was a really good discussion, if I may say). We each have our opinions on it, and neither of us can change the other's opinion, and we had reached an impass.
Lights? What lights, we're in the middle of a forest at 9. Blur, the only things on the pictures blurry are the lights, everything else is steady. Slow shutter speed? I know that people's word on things means nothing on the internet, but the shutter speed was as fast as my camera would allow it.
Flash was fired, Illuminating the scene, and then the lights in the distance caused that wavy light to appear because of the slow shutter speed. Similar to the technique to drawing with light
I believed in ghosts for the longest time, but I could give a shit about ghosts now, what you should be really afraid of is Aliens.
ghost dont exist dumbass
I was going to post this

Personally, from some of the stuff I've experienced and caught on camera, I believe wholeheartedly that there is some kind of "ghost phenomena", but I have no idea what it is. Really, don't post in the thread if you aren't going to help. To OP, all I can tell you is what Detective P said. Don't be douchey to whatever is there. Also, the four pictures I've taken out at a friend's house. Can't explain them, most people online think it's photoshop, don't even own photoshop, but whatever. They're still interesting.
but it looks like ive been beaten :) also as a counter to the '3 seconds was what the camera gave me', its shot at ISO 100, the lowest ISO speed on that camera. Maybe if it was jacked up to 800, but i digress.

But the photos were taken in a forest, a mile away from my friend's house, which is on a country road. We looked for any lights in the distance and we didn't see any. We did find a few faint streetlights, but from the areas we took the pictures they would have been behind us.
...I hope he realizes someday that people say your instead of you're to be lazy...but what ever. does anyone have any good photos or vids they wanna post?
unironically, the photos you thought were good were just proven fake. awesome. and you're and your are different words, learn english please. you type like a 12 year old.
i couldn't find a logical explanation. so i went with an illogical one.
I have never once said that there were ghosts in that picture. All I said was that there was "ghostlike phenomena", saying that there was something weird going on. I have tried for a logical explanation but haven't found one yet, so I'm still looking.
unironically, the photos you thought were good were just proven fake. awesome. and you're and your are different words, learn english please. you type like a 12 year old.
now your insulting english? please atleast have the decency to keep the argument on topic.
Believe what you want.
well we found your logical explanation...
look a few posts up.
I did, and I never said "it's ghosts". All I said was "ghost phenomena".

Could even be some sort of reflection I'm not sure. I'm not familiar with Fujifilms flashes. Some point and shoots have an LED in them and they stay on for the entirety of the shutter being open rather then an actual flash. My phone does that as well :( Perhaps the light was reflecting off the leaves? I'm not sure. I cant see much in those photos, Plus i'm tired. [editline]balls[/editline] Disregard this, It has a proper flash.
well we found your logical explanation...
And that explanation is what? That I'm tired of arguing with people who are as closed minded as they view me to be? I believe in ghosts, my old home in mexico used to haunted. The ghosts followed my brother around from home to home.
I'm a ghost and if you fucking "ghost hunter" pricks don't knock it off I'm going to move some furniture around in a sinister manner
that it had a long ass shutter time?
That may be it, but that doesn't explain where the lights came from. That's the part that stumps me. And to coolrider, it's just a quick flash.
its monday. i'm going to sleep.
