I don't believe in ghosts. I do however find it fascinating learning about the history of a Supposedly haunted place. As kids there was this old house that we swore was haunted and we always had plans about going there at night even going so far as to bringing BB guns and pocket knives (Like they would do anything to a ghost rofl) but none of us were brave enough to actually go in.

i know what you mean. Theres actually a supposedly haunted house that is in my neighbor hood that somebody committed suicide in, but when we brought up the subject of trying to go there, we were juss like " hell nah!" XD

Why do I not believe anymore? I started thinking critically. I started demanding reliable, physical evidence. And there was none.
Is it possible? Sure. There are possibilities for ghosts (the Soul of a person) to exist without violating the laws of physics. We don't know how, but there are a lot of things we don't know. There's quite a lot of things about consciousness we don't know.
Then we come to the question of probability. Then I can only recommend that you think about the universe. What is our place? The existance of a separate supernatural Soul would place us as rather special. Ponder the size and complexity of the universe. Are we special? Do we have a soul? Maybe. Maybe not. I have a very physical view of the human mind so I say probably not. Where I think that this notion of a soul comes from? A need to explain what "I" is. We have a "I". Why do we have this? We don't exactly know, but it's probably just a result of our brains functions. This doesn't make our experience any less special for ourselves. Ones experiences is subjective, reality is not.
I don't know how this might be interprated, but from my point of view the size and complexity of the universe makes it impossible to believe in the supernatural.
My brother wants me to write that "Something that is supernatural can't exist per definition, since if it did it would be completely natural. If ghosts actually exist they are natural."

Yes it does. Im not exactly sure where but it talks about ghost being some spiritual being, not a human who died. And hauntings are usually the works of demons it says. I believe the bible because im a Christian. But lets not turn this into a religious battle.

My mom is into all this spiritual things, and believes in ghosts and healing and whatnot. Same with 2 of my best friends. It's silly IMO, but I respect whatever they believe.
Oh and in almost every photo we take inside the house, there will be a energy orb in it. Currently at work so can't post pictures, but i can try to find an example later today

no but in the bible demons do not interact with the world in silly ways like moving your pots and pans around and making bumping noises in abandoned buildings. In christian theology (at least the schools of christianity that do believe in the worldy intervention of demons, many don't) the interaction between demons and the world is purely on a spiritual level i.e. in a totally immaterial way

lol i believe in ghost and all that, but i never usually think of ghost when something falls or a noise happens.
Oh, and please post your pics! i wanna seem them! I have actually captured ion orb in my own house, but i have no idea if it was a camera glitch or a actually spirit lol.
