I know you is gonna be wanting that.

the stretch for first fret is of many pains
24 strings, 24 frets. I don't think the reach matters much when you've got that note everywhere.
So I'm picking up an Epi Thunderbird for £100 this week. Can't wait to give it a go, I've been wanting one recently and I'll never get another opportunity to get one at such a low price.

Just sit it down and play it piano style. No one really cares by that point.

Most bands will still play 0-0-0, lol.
My Jaguar arrived yesterday and it looks and sounds amazing, my only complaint being the stock bridge being shitty unstable, but i hope this can be helped slightly by adjusting it and replacing the shitty .09 guage strings fitted as standard to heavier .11s which might keep the bridge more stable and get a fatter tone too, as opposed to replacing the bridge - i'll do that sometime in the future though.
Also, buying a cheap Behringer delay soon too.

having owned a kaoss pad for about as long as I've played guitar there's one thing I can say for sure about it
it doesn't suit a guitar very well at all

oh man, so many angry dadcore comments on the video :v:
That's what I'd probably do with a Contrabass, just use it as a massive ass guitar and have people be angry with me :v:

So i'm still trying not to be bad at guitar, self teaching, I'd like to be able to play something on the spot, made up or whatever. At the moment I'm just playing stuff from tabs online, but I don't feel as though it's learning guitar; it's just playing stuff someone else has made. I feel like I should be doing something technique related, or something similar, I'm too poor to get lessons though. Any advice on what I can do to improve?

Read up on music theory? Learn the fretboard of a guitar if you don't. As in actually know the notes.

I'm not a particularly musical person, so I'm not sure if I'll actually be able to use that information. I'll give it go anyway.
I'm visiting my dad, his amp doesn't have an aux or CD input, but it has an effects send and return.
Is there anyway to plug an ipod through the send without ruining the tone?
every send/return I've ever messed with didn't even work till you plugged something in both so you might not have to worry about it at all

Been looking for a good lp copy, so I've been looking at agile. I honestly don't want to spend too much so im thinking of a al3010se, or forgetting it and getting an ssd or even saving the money
how much are you looking to spend
My guitar still doesn't stay in tune and I don't know why.
My guitar still doesn't stay in tune and I don't know why.
What do you mean, stay in tune? What is it? How are you winding the strings? What kind of bridge, is it intonated properly? Does it have shoddy machine heads?
I need this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/peterson-vss-c-stomp-classic-strobotuner-pedal-tuner/h70143

Fuck I know I need another piece of gear that is relatively cheap but I have everything I need except for a noise gate and a rack and a power conditioner.
I'm taken care of for effects and distortion, I have a few sets of strings, and I have a whole tin of picks.
Also, check MF's stupid deal of the day.
Gonna trade my old crap acoustic and 100 $ for my friend's Peavey Rotor EXP. He just threw down about 1,200 $ for a new guitar so he didn't want it any more apparently.
I bought a agile al2000 tribal blue

Do tell how it is when it arrives. I just rant through the custom builder thing and I found I could make a 7-string black beauty. I'm fucking interested.
