I like my .73 yellows because I can dig in like a neanderthal without breaking my strings. I would use tortex Jazz III XLs if they weren't so fucking TINY
XLs aren't tiny though... I use blue Tortex 1mm picks a lot, or the Dunlop Gel yellows. I always score them with a pocket knife in a criss cross pattern for that super turbo nev-r-drop grip
One of the frets on my acoustic is literally so shit, that fretting the next note makes the same sound. [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] and below 3 frets buzz like a motherfucker, hitting them with a pick is like scraping out your eardrum

I had a dunlop yellow gel pick snap in half once whilst playing one of my band's original songs, I was left a bit confused as to what happened until I saw half of it on the floor. I guess that's the down side of scoring picks with a knife.

It looked like shit and the 10th, 11th, and 12th frets on the 1st string all make the same note.

Try to rehydrate it by putting damp sponges in slightly open plastic bags in it's case with it, or even in a gigbag. In other news, i got my agile A-2001. I'd rate it easily a 8/10, maybe 9 but i'm not sure yet because i only have a 6505.
Why do my eyes tell me that these strings look so out of place because they are so thin... I played to much bridge cable 15-90 sets D: [editline]15th February 2014[/editline] I mean look at these medusa cables [t]http://i.imgur.com/J14ZGRH.jpg[/t] They look so normal to me :v:

Here I am playing 9-42... Where's my baritone goddamn [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] Oh wait, I don't have one
Biggest i've used are .62 on my SG. Shit tone with them though, far too bassy on that scale
I went to a Wolfmother concert last night, their bass player was right in front of me and I got to watch him play all night, he's insanely good [editline]15th February 2014[/editline] he was like a metre away from me.
imagine wearing a headband like that in 2014
http://legatorguitars.com/electric-guitars/Legator-Signature-Series-Guitars/Josh-Travis-Signature-9-String Hey, a 30" 9 string.
Why does it seem to me that every guitarist I meet keeps calling every group of 3 notes triplets? Like if they were to play 3 sixteenth notes wait a sixteenth note and repeat they would call that a triplet.
because they're a dumbass
I don't know if you guys remember a few months back when I asked about the Roland midi pickup on Ed Kuepper's strat but I just stumbled across some footage from the 90s of him actually using it. It sounds kinda cool but you can see why he doesn't use it much any more.
I think it's time I just accept the fact that I can't use this pick forever and need to move onto one of my other 100. But it's the only Thin one I have and I'm too lazy to get more knowing I have a million other picks
just tuned my bass down to BEAD feels good man
just tuned my bass down to BEAD feels good man
Put distortion on it and slap the shit out of it dude!
This is probably the last preview of my band's EP before we release it. It's the entire solo section of the title song.

So sorry.
What are you even supposed to call them if triplets isn't correct? Is there even another word to use?
3 16th notes?
3 16th notes?
Duh, I feel stupid now. Sorry.
Hey, it's okay. Triplets are 3 notes in the space of one beat, so they'd be a little slower than 16th notes and have a very distinct sound. This is an interesting example
I am recording new stuff again, is this mad enough to be interesting?
I like it, it's got dat groove
Shit, my ground wire came loose. should put the back plate on next time. however the guitar still works perfectly. does this mean i'll get shocked if I touch the loose wire?
Shit, my ground wire came loose. should put the back plate on next time. however the guitar still works perfectly. does this mean i'll get shocked if I touch the loose wire?
noise. solder it back on, takes 15 seconds. [editline]16th February 2014[/editline] Hey, look what Paul just did. Also, nice amp
