Standard, Whole Step Down, Drop C, A Standard (7 string), Drop G (7 string) and a tuning I use for Supercrush - Devin Townsend on my 7 string (BDGCFAD), Basically I have the 7 string tuned to A standard and then raise the low A to a low B for that one song.
DADGAD on the electric currently and Nashville on the acoustic.
So I fixed the neck crack on the semi-hollow... Now it needs set up, there's a dead fret.
standard, 1/4 step down, half step down
i'm boring
Why 1/4 step down?
I use E standard, I can't be bothered to spend hours working the floyds to go down.
Why 1/4 step down?
playing old Megadeth, the first two albums are in a weird pitch
I thought so haha. It did seem like the only thing it could be for besides being a hipster.

Hahaha, holy shit. I remember being like 10 and the MJOLNIR theme being the reason that I got in to electric guitar
My RGA8QM finally arrived a couple of days ago. It plays beautifully compared to my old guitar. Needs a few adjustments on the action because it buzzes horribly on the first few frets but it feels easier to play than my RG421.

drop a is a great tuning

I haven't got the stupid 30 eur cable for it. I have a mixer board which worked well with the older version of it. Using the nocable patch.
thats a shame, I bought it with the cable. I've played guitar for a year and a half before playing rocksmith and after playing it I improved at a much faster rate (mostly due to playing all the songs on the game and I used to only play Jimmy Eat World before hand).
I can't believe that I started playing guitar by only playing with my thumb for almost a full year, then covering disturbed songs saved my hobby and made me pick up a pick :v: I hated picks 8 years ago.

The program is just massive piece of shit, I don't know why they made it like this. I can't even hear the audio anymore, I haven't changed anything.
No audio output device detected.
so why can I listen to youtube vids and play my guitar through th2 or something but this doesn't work?

Wait, the game is saying no audio output device detected? So its not playing any sound and not registering your guitar?
Do you have headphones plugged in by chance?

I do, I tried with both the mixer board I'm usually plugged into and directly into the computer.
Before it just didn't register my guitar, now it doesn't even put out sound, because apparently there's no output device detected.
If the game starts and you get a pop up box saying no audio, unplug your headphones, keep the guitar hooked up and see if that works. Than plug the game in.
Sometimes on my computer the game gets confused and tries to use my headphones as an input and my guitar as an output.
Nope, even when I have JUST the headphones plugged in, I get the same error message.
Tried multiple times.
If you have any audio programs make sure they aren't taking exclusive control over the input for your guitar, infact go to recording devices and make sure that the input for your guitar is set to allow exclusive control taken.
Just to double check, is the error a popup when the games starting or the one in the menus and such that is rendered over everything else?
Popup at the start. I can't even get to a menu because it won't let me calibrate because it also doesn't pick up my guitar due to no cable :v:
But I tried a different account and no audio there aswell when I tried to play a song.
This will be the last I got but make the sure the input is set to 1 Channel, 16 bit input 44000 Hz.
Also double check that you modified Rocksmith.ini correctly.
drop C, drop B, drop Ab but with a low F (7 string)

i missed it
I used to jam with a dude who used DDDDdd tuning.
[sp]No, he wasn't Lou Reed but he shared a similar aesthetic sometimes.[/sp]

i really like the tuning for the octave power chord. i was also learning some torche songs
I have a question. I want to buy something that can produce good tape delay effects, similar to the Binson Echorec.
Is this a good pedal?
http://www.catalinbread.com/echorec-features
Is there anything else out there? Somebody was trying to convince me to get a multi effects, but tape delay is really the only effect I want. I do want to justify spending $250 dollars though..

I have one of these
it's the best
