I wouldn't mind trying one of those acrylic Steinbergers though.
Bought my first guitar around a week ago Epiphone Dot Cherry.

Thanks. I'm using ultimate guitar mostly. I just hate how many tabs are 'pro' so you have to pay (?) to view them. Also, my idol :D dat 240p

Just got off the phone with guitar amp repair guy, it had to go back to marshall factory :(

I'm not home right now so I don't know exactly which model it is. It's OK for what I need. Trying to learn Tremolo picking... is it just practicing over and over? I can't seem to get enough speed on it lol
cubes are great man, I've got 2 of em, a 30 watts for practice and a 80 watts to run in stereo with my tube amp they're great at what they do. @Nazareth666 except for the price and maybe the cavity covers and the fact the tune o matic bridge is upside down (the screws go on the side of the pickup, not the stopbar) and maybe the back paint wich has a few flaws, havent found other giveaways that i'd be a copy http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2013-New-Arrival-JEM-7V-Water-the-Crystal-electric-guitar-tape-led-lighting-free-shipping/758205346.html http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Kirk-Hammett-Signature-Guitar-KH-2-Limited-Edition-Ouija-White-Neck-Thru-Body-Ebony-Fretboard-Active/603962769.html this is interesting
that crystal guitar looks awesome. does it come with 5 sockets - if so, can I build a cta on it? GIVES 5 TO BENDING whoops wrong hobby.

And even gibson has installed TOM bridges like that. [editline]26th March 2013[/editline] If I recall right as well the one I worked on yesterday didn't even use metric screws.
Bought my first guitar around a week ago Epiphone Dot Cherry.
you should start out by learning Paul Gilbert, his stuff's pretty basic
Yeah scarified and technical difficulties are piss easy to learn [sp]n0t[/sp] Looking at their esp alexi guitar copies, the neck joint looks like its a bolt on guitar, but glued instead of drilled http://www.aliexpress.com/item/free-shipping-Deluxe-ESP-Alexi-Laiho-600-USA-24-Flying-V-Floyd-rose-Electric-Guitar-white/751190052.html

Maybe it is, i just find it ending kinda straight (but thinking about it my lp is similar) I know the joint on the real ones seems more... eeh... cant find the word for that.... it just seems better whatever, more adjusted to the neck/comfortable idk
Gonna go for a short road trip tomorrow to buy a Digitech delay pedal and a compressor pedal for cheap off Craigslist. I don't really know what I'm going to do with the compressor right now, but I could make use of the delay. Either way, I'll finally have something on my pedalboard besides tuner and wah.
you should start out by learning Paul Gilbert, his stuff's pretty basic
holy shit this man is awesome. his pinky is fucking LONG
Had an idea yesterday and decided to keep on working on that idea to put it in my next ep with vocals, enjoy these clean tones guys! https://www.dropbox.com/s/47s82mzip5i262k/Caynug%20-%202013%20m%C3%A4rz%20idea.wav
Slide project update. Pictured, prototype one on the left, prototype two on the right. Stainless steel sounded and felt best to me so that's what both are made of. P1 was tapered in the inside, which was okay, but P2 is tapered both inside and out, feels more comfortable. P1 was measured to match the nut width of my electrics, so it ended up being just slightly too short for my 12 string and classical guitars, so we made P2 slightly taller. I have some more ideas for P3, like maybe taking a belt sander to it and give it a nice mirror polish, but overall I've come to the conclusion that if you have a bit of scrap material and the right tools, there's no need to pay for a new store-bought slide, it's very easy to make your own.
man I wish I had a lathe too
Please ignore the complete mess that is the closet of my office. That is, most obviously, the place things go to die when I don't want them any more, but feel to sorry for them to throw them away or give away as regifts. My PRS Tremonti SE (right), and Alvarez RF20SC (left). I won't bore you guys with my crappy epiphone amp. [t]http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w72/mastoner20/0327031503_zps546dd7d2.jpg[/t]

I'm not sure, actually. I use it as a footrest beneath my desk. :v Correction: It's an EP-800 I got for free with my PRS.
I've been thinking of getting the Pod HD pro, worth it or should I wait a few extra months and get the Axe FX?
The axe fx in my opinon still doesn't warrant the price, you could go with a kimper or whatever they're called, otherwise you could always get a pod hd for the right price and just go with another item later.
Kempers are cool, you should totes buy one, break into a guitar store and profile all the amps
The KPA is cool but I've yet to see anybody positively review it unless they were also renting a set of amps for a day and spending a lot of time getting to understand how the limited editing parameters can be used to bullshit detail the amp doesn't provide. Axe or a Pod is a better choice for the vast majority of players.
