Here's a good question...
Why is Electra Mustaine not in my life?
i think keeping distance to the Mustaines is a wise decision
something goes wrong and you're going to have Crazy Dave on your ass
And a teaser for my soon to come angry album:
Inner Dissonance:

Used an octave shifting effect on my main distortion together with the normal pitch of the string to get that gnarly lowness bite.
enjoy fellow guitar gods
Oh man that's fucking filthy, love it
Those all look awesome! I WANT THEM.
Thank you!
I just sold the red one today though, a Samick SAN-450 Artist series. Made in a Korean epiphone factory with epi pups. Sad to see it go because it sounded really nice, but I stopped playing it.
Also in the photo are my:
Maton ECW80C,
Tanglewood Premier,
Lee Ranaldo Artist Series Fender Jazzmaster
J Mascis Artist Series Squire Jazzmaster
Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus-top (it looks like a cheeto colour in the picture ,but it's a honeycomb yellow)
Behringer strat copy
Ashton strat copy
Sanchez electric-acoustic ukulele.

When I die put "Where's the capo?" on my tombstone cause i can never keep up with the damn thing
capos are for losers
the only song i use a capo on is wonderwall
capos are for losers
want to fight?
They enable you to play in a way you normally can't do. If that's not useful then to each his own, but I think they can be useful.
whatever loser
chicks dig capos deal w/ it
That's my problem with capos. Would rather barre chord than lazy ass bitch nigga capo.
But capos give you new ideas? I love playing with my 5th fret capod on my acoustic guitar and just come up with new stuff. I don't want to understand the hate.

Does anyone have any clue of what model of Teisco this is?
It's on sale for 250 eur, thinking that might be too much.
I have never gotten a capo to work because Wizard necks are too thin :pwn:
That will change though.

So you lied when you said
"That's my problem with capos. Would rather barre chord than lazy ass bitch nigga capo."
but the real problem for you is that you never gotten a capo to work.

I would rather barre chord! But I do have one or two because I wanna try what Albert Collins did! And girls dig capos and I think I oughta be a sellout

goddamnit darkslicer my 6 strings are in both drop c and b
Damn can it just be may 12th already so I can buy my new guitar... FUUUUUUUUU
Man anyone who has been here long enough knows about my bad luck with Shock Me by Kiss. I Have been trying to record a cover since about May 2012. And I got the ambition to do it today so I go for it. I mess up the first two takes so I start up for a third and everything is going great. Until the song ends and I realize that my webcam has stopped recording... Turns out my external hard drive went into stand by half way through the recording and corrupted the file. SO 40 something takes later my fingers are getting tired and I am getting frustrated but I ended up with a decent (and I use that lightly) cover of the song.
whatever loser
j mascis is not a loser
anyone know an easy song to learn? still can't find guitar lessons and i have no idea how to progress.
waiting on the world to change by john mayer seems ok to learn, the solo at least, but i kinda wanna learn a full song.
foo fighters and nirvana have really easy songs. ac/dc is easy too if you like playing power chords. the first songs i tried to learn were by black sabbath. iron man, black sabbath, and sweet leaf are really easy to play.
I guess I can learn Smells Like Teen Spirit. That's super easy isn't it? I just struggle with strumming patterns unless I can see it visually like UDUD as in up down up down. then it takes me 5 minutes and I have memorized it.
[editline]21st April 2014[/editline]
also i suck at doing the thing where you hold the rhythm with your strumming hand, and only strum sometimes
[editline]21st April 2014[/editline]
ah pretty simple strumming pattern. up down up. up down up down muted. down down.
[editline]21st April 2014[/editline]
smells like teen spirit is a little too fast and i accidentally hit the bottom strings every now and then. i can play it, just not fast enough.
