ill give you one myself if you give me a whole potato
take it or leave it
A whole potato for a Mesa Mk.V? Or with the rest of the things too?
If I had a booster pedal, and ran it through a vintage tube amp, would it overdrive the preamp and give me some distortion? I just want a little grunge, but from the amp, not a fuzz/distortion pedal.
Tried out some 8 gauge strings today, my friend who suggested I try them wanted me to film my reaction to them. I actually was surprised to discover they don't feel as awkward as I thought they would.

nylon bro
regular old ten pound test fishing line actually does work perfectly for a couple banjo strings on the old old school 4 string banjo, and I think it works on the five string too but I'm not too sure about that.
It also costs pennies on the dollar compared to packs of nylon banjo strings.

Oh man I have a telecaster JA-90 and I've been dying to have a guitar with vibrato system, I saw a post on a forum about someone who fitted a bigsby onto their guitar. How much do you think it would cost to do this and how easy would it be?
This is what my one is (color and model not my picture I have a nice elder scrolls online sticker around the pickup switch)

and this is what his guitar looked like after he fitted it in:

on a side note my mum bought me a slide because she really likes that cage the elephant song.

found another one, the same color as mine, I think it looks cool but I'm worried about how it would affect the tuning because as it is, my guitar is awful at staying in tune.

I should get an acoustic. Can anyone recommend a good starter acoustic? It can be a little pricey, I don't want to have to upgrade anytime soon

You could use one of those to mount it on there in a way that makes it reversible. You wouldn't have to mod your guitar in any way besides maybe getting a roller bridge.
oh wow wtf I took a look at Killing in the Name by Rage Against The Machine and I thought I wouldn't be able to play it at all, and then it turns out I've actually gotten good enough to play almost all of the riffs pretty nicely. I feel so cool rocking out to this tune.
Had my first bass lesson today. Teach asked for my bass and tuned it to standard tuning (I knew it was out of tune but no tuning I could find online) with only a tuning fork in about a minute or so.
It was a beautiful thing to see.

It's a good option because you can always take it off if without leaving holes if you decide you want to take it off. I thought about slapping one on my explorer but I decided against it.
call him Bender
To be honest it usually takes me about a year to name an instrument because I usually don't associate names with my guitars but I thought it would be fun to start giving them personas. Sid was just an idea that came to my mind after listening to some Sex Pistols with a friend so my bass got a name sooner than it should of.
name him guitar #4

How about Barret?
I'm naming my bass Captain Snufflekins.
My prs baritone guitar is only called rhytm machine. I would feel weird calling my guitars names.
my fender already has a name written on the head. squier. so yeah.
