Is it acceptable to murder your cat because she knocked your guitar stand over and by extension your guitar?
because the cat left the stand in such a way that it could be knocked over
both of my guitars go out of tune a lot (one is an Epiphone Les Paul, the other is a Squier strat). Any advice to make them stay in tune better?
i heard that if you stretch the strings before tuning them, theyll stay in tune longer
also, tune up to a note, not down to it
basing this off memory tho

Lube nut, tighter wrap on the tuners, locking tuners, locking nut. I dunno.
because the cat left the stand in such a way that it could be knocked over
It was in a way that it wouldnt normally fall over. My cat was on my lap when I petted her and she suddenly jumped out of my lap onto the arm rest, jumped to another chair and had a midair collision with the neck of my guitar. Its not like I left it in a position where she rubbed against it and knocked it over.

There's a few things you can do that don't require changing anything. For example, get a pencil and rub some of the graphite on the nut, bridge saddles, etc. Usually, if the guitar is cheap, the bridge, tuners and nut will be crap, so they need replacing most of the time.

If you have an aircondition or something in your room that you turn on when you get home, (if the temperature keeps changing in your room), that can make the fretting board "give in" a little bit, and thus making them go out of tune.

I mean while I'm playing. A few bends can sometimes make the strings go out of tune in the middle of a song.

sounds like a bad i-dont-remember-what-it's-called-right-now but it's the thing at the bottom of the strings holding them down i believe

i have a squier strat by fender as well, no issues
Just spent the last hour trying to locate an open b string buzz on my new LTD, it ended up being the b string nut slot not making a good contact with the string on the bridge side of the nut as explained in the third picture on this site.

Took the nut off and filed a little bit of the wood away to make the nut sit at a steeper angle towards the headstock and now all is well.

Only if you didn't drop everything to rub one out right then and there.
The guy selling the Ibanez said his grandson might want it, fuck everything.
As for the overall tone of the album, Wilson has good news for hardcore Weezer fans. “If you took the Pinkerton band and then play all the other records—that’s what we sound like now. Bombastic, loose, kind of booming. This record sounds like it’s going to have the tight structure of Blue Album with a little bit more abandon like Pinkerton.“
I love Weezer <3

I can't wait, I have been listening to Weezer since I found my fathers Blue Album cassette in 1995. It's been such a tease watching their studio updates, can't wait to hear the full album.
