talking about this one
I think they are equally... uh... beautiful.
Gonna start spending money on pedals. Wah and fuzz are the only two I'm sure of. What else should I aim for to get a Hendrix-like tone with a squire strat and Vox AC15?
[editline]14th July 2014[/editline]
And a phaser apparently. Phase 90 MXR101? idk there are so many pedals out there

Fender American Telecaster FSR Sienna Sunburst and a JCM 900. Surprised at how well they go together with the right settings.
at my local guitar shop they have JCM 900s converted into lamps! it's cool. you turn it on and off on the actual power switch. I'll take a photo the next time I'm there.

My next purchase might be a Yamaha THR10X, I tried one out of Guitar Center after they FINALLY set one up and I love the thing. It's a perfect bedroom/apartment amp for me. Plenty loud, good tone, and plenty of effects. On top of that it records very well with the aux out or USB.
I have been needing a new bedroom amp, even though I love my old Tubeworks RT-2100 it really is too loud for an apartment and is becoming a table for junk... But it is oh so fuzzy...

i've never noticed a phaser, maybe i am retarded
Been playing guitar for 1 year. I got my second electric guitar about 8 months ago now, a Squier Vintage Modified strat, it's lovely but it doesn't stay in tune that well.
Should I consider getting an actual fender or something similar or just messing around with this thing until it works properly?
also thinking of buying a steel-string acoustic, I only have a classical.

Tuning issues can usually be fixed, certain things to check for are loose neck screws, burrs in the nut slots, burrs on the saddles on the bridge, and loose tuners. A good tip is to take some graphite (like from a pencil) or some chapstick and put some on all the points that the strings make contact with such as the nut slots and saddles.
It's a shame you live so damn far away or I would come and help ya fix it.
Thanks! Also very nice of you to offer.
I'll try all of that.

Got it.
If I wanted a Kaoss Pad in my guitar, what would you guys recommend? I asked some guy from Denmark, he says it would cost about $360 not counting the Kaoss Pad itself which is $190.
What do you think?
