Are you gonna remember us when you get to the top?
I'm never going to stop reading and posting here <3
If I make it to the "top".
Ditto.
I'll still be posting here when I'm living in a fucking box.
Somehow.
Speaking of the "top". Could it work out when I play that stuff in the street for food money? I am totally broke right now with 2€ left in my bank account and today is probably my last cheap store pizza I can eat till next month, don't even want to think about rent and bills yet.
Is what I do interesting enough to catch peoples ears and interest?
You could always give it a shot, you'd definitely make food money.
I will try as soon as possible, this week is totally full rain everyday here. Lets hope for a better next week.
oh man
it happened
the world is safe for another generation

Best vid in a while :v:
Ech, Gotoh trems look strange to me; I dunno what it is about them.
Man I feel so lucky being able to wake up to this sight every day, nothing better in the morning than waking up to a cup of coffee and a few guitars.

So I spent an hour at Guitar Center yesterday, and I found a Music Man there.
Those things are kickass. I think it was one of the Albert Lee's.
every time someone mentions GC i get just a little more pissed at how pathetic the guitar selections in this tiny country's even tinier music stores seem to be
yeah australia also has shit guitar stores

if you ever want to buy something you have to import it
I went to a guitar center while in a trip to the US... damn
Came back home with a fender.
I went to the Times Square GC like the second day it was opened. I found a little corner of EBMM's in the corner of the Platinum Club, by a pile of vintage LPs. Conveniently, there was a 5150III there too, and I got to test two things at once. I can't figure out which JP I played, but it was amazing.

I was in SF, and i got to try out tosin abasi's top end 8 string and the 5150III and holy shit.
I tried an RG2228, and it was so much better than the RG8. Also tried the LTD lp with evertune and the Iron Cross, RG655 (amaaazing), and a really expensive strat.
Oh, and I tried the PRS Mushok but it had the worst set up, so it was stupid hard to play.

How did you have that dialed? I would think between the amp being kinda midscoopy and the Ionizers being mid-focused it'd come across as mushy.

Oh my gosh oh my gosh it's miiiine
you sure you've got enough strings?
With 7+ string guitars, do they add an additional lower string, or an upper string? I never thought to question it.
Additional lower string, and additional upper string would just be too thin unless you were using really thick strings.
Additional lower string, and additional upper string would just be too thin unless you were using really thick strings.
Depends on the scale of the guitar and how well the strings are made. With proper strings you can add a high A, if the scale of the guitar is fanned or simply shorter it wouldn't be that much of a problem.
[editline]awd[/editline]
Also to clarify: going higher would require thin strings, not thick.
I want to get a fanned 8 and have a high A and low B.
are 12-54's a good gauge for a telecaster? I'm curious to try out some heavier strings on it.

That's what Carcass uses for tuning to B standard. Are you gonna have it in E standard? That seems really frigging heavy to me.
I was planning on B standard. i'm just a bit concerned about how my bridge would handle heavy strings.
