Does it have the barrel saddles or the strat kind? It all depends on if you have the range for intonating, and that the holes in the tuning pegs are big enough (which they should be). Also, might need to file the nut, which I've heard can be done with the actual strings :pwn:
Man I feel so lucky being able to wake up to this sight every day, nothing better in the morning than waking up to a cup of coffee and a few guitars.

As a die hard fan as well I am very subtle in the ways I show my appreciation for them. You may notice the pickups in my Ibanez and compare them to this photo.

I very badly want to build a replica of that sonic blue strat but at least I have a guitar that has the same pickups as it. Running through that guitar into my Tubeworks RT-2100 I can get very VERY close to the tone heard on the blue album. Even though he never used that strat on the blue album, as a matter of fact he used a gibson les paul junior with P-90s for the majority of that album.

Yeah I liked that one too, he never liked it because it was an all maple body so it was heavy as hell and for a few reasons the tone was too bright. The blonde strat he is using even today has the guts of that sonic blue strat. It broke a while back after he dropped it so he took the neck and electronics out of it and put them on a new body.

I really want to pick up my guitar again but I just can't
Last time I was learning I wasn't having much fun, I made it past being shitty but after a couple months time I just found no enjoyment in playing anymore and everything I did was just a chore
Based on that is it even worth trying again? I didn't quit because I was frustrated with my abillities

you won't get any better if you don't play, I understand your frustration as I was there at some point, but a few months later I was able to do what I wanted.

Pickups arrived, just gotta wait for the new wiring harness then I can do this shit all over again.
Back to Times Square GC, played the RG2228 and a KM-7 through a 5150III and showed mom the Evertune bridge. Then straight to the platinum club, where I found an actual '61 LP(SG) Special, a CS Byrdland, and a whole lotta cool stuff that I played through a Friedman Dirty Shirley and an ENGL Screamer 50. All in all, worthwhile trip.

Aww man I won't be able to see my guitars for a couple weeks, I am taking a trip up to Michigan tomorrow to see my mother so I am keeping my guitars at my fathers place so he can keep an eye on them. Oh well, he will get some enjoyment out of them for a couple weeks. They have been gone for only an hour and I am already having urges to play.
3 days after restringing my guitar, string pops
fml
over half a year with the same D'addarios and still going strong
i use Curt Mangan 7 string .10-.60s on my 6 string (mostly because the local guitar shop often doesn't have .13s in stock for 6 strings which is what i usually use) and they usually last at least a month.

I've got a GHS 11-50 set and 3 d'addario 10-52 sets, If I can find stamps i could hook a brotha up
am i the only one who finds that d'addarios make my guitar sound tinny?
i've tried to get along with them but ugh

i usually find them hella bright sounding unless they are the pure nickel ones
but that is the same with most brands
This is beautiful.

I can't say that that's an improvement over a Manson.
Picked this up yesterday in small music shop I rarely visit, the guy had it tucked away in a small backroom with other various guitars and banjos that were 5 times older than it.
you sure you've got enough strings?
Brb buying 12 string.
But really though, this is the best guitar I've touched so far.
It's inspiring too because I've got more ideas by playing this guitar than any of my other ones.
Real fun to experiment with Drop E tuning.
Hey guys
I enjoy tapping and I'm trying to progress more in clean tapping like minus the bear does. I'm looking to buy a good compression pedal for under 100 bucks. Any recommendations?
Thanks
I just bought a new head. A Marshall MA100H. I definitely have a problem.
On the plus side the amp sounds like an angel.
