You probably got sharp edges in the saddles of your bridge, filing them will fix that.

it was a hand made i got as a gift for my birthday made by a local guy.
weird fact, you can only find his guitars in a local music store of mine which is owned by the brother of the author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Just started playing guitar and I'm buying my first guitar amp. Is roland microcube gx a good choice? Or maybe recommend me something else along the same price range. Purely for bedroom use.

1:14 (also 1:30) this is amazing

Roland cubes are actually surprisingly good. I would get a bigger one with an 8"+ speaker if you want any low end in your tone though. that 5 incher is gonna sound a little wimpy imo.
holy fuck that is terrible

it would sound cool if the sound of the (I'm guessing) bass wasn't terrible
Day two, I have been without my guitars for two days now. I have started to regain feeling in my fingertips. I believe this is a byproduct of having my calluses disappearing. I will send a report to the lab for analysis.

1:54 dat autotune
I'll be restringing my Les Paul in a few days once I get my strings. Is it a bad idea to loop the strings over the top of the part of the bridge that holds the ends? I've heard it changes the tension and feel of the strings and I wanted to give it a shot

Oh god it sounds horrible at 1:30 because they autotuned it a half tone to low and 1:14 has been forgotten to edit with distortion (di signal doing 000000 palm mutes)
this is horrible, even if it would have been fixed... this is my most hated "genre", talentless garbage doing the same shit over and over again.

this guy has more original talent with one old rusty string on an classical guitar than these tards. /rant 0000000 fret hate

Opening with a breakdown.
Yeah, that's a good sign.

Because somebody's inevitably going to ask what this is from.

IT'S ALIVE! (could be loud/quiet, I dunno)
It works, both pickups work as well as the selector switch (you can hear both, then bridge then neck in that order in the link above), but none of the vol/tone pots do anything at all.
Has anyone heard of this issue and what could be causing it?
this is my most hated "genre", talentless garbage doing the same shit over and over again.
what genre is that anyway?
what genre is that anyway?
I think they call it "hardcore". I call it "weak breakdown core".
[editline]3rd September 2014[/editline]
These idiots have breakdowns as choruses, great way to write a non meaning weak song.
With that said, today I finished mixing and mastering an 9 minute song I wrote which includes 2 solos, 2 "breakdowns" (one of them with a solo) tons of sound, riffing in my own made up tuning and an overdriven slap bass tuned down to F#0 makes the lows go boom. Can't wait to show this instrumental song to you guys... best song I have ever written and the sound is pure orgasmic.
it's pop "metal" core
I also just noticed that only one song of my soon to come metal album has palm muting. I think these hardcore bands made me hate palm muting :v:

nearly every proper metal track with distortion / fuzz / whatever has palm muting in some form because without palm muting distortion makes things sound sloppy as fuck unless you know how to work your fretting hand properly

I am not shredding at all on this album so it's okay  it's more about soundscapes and melodys/groovy riffing.
this is the teaser for some of the songs that are finished since 5 months already :v: :

Ok there is palm muting on the weird song in the middle.. but that's fine because it has cowbell!

I thought that died in 2012, imagine my surprise when I noticed last week that it still isn't gone and that it has barely changed at all.
[editline]awd[/editline]
this is what I dig the most of the current -core scene
[editline]awd[/editline]
You guys are all refering to this genre.

[editline]awd[/editline]
Also I'm looking to learn something cool for bass, genre doesn't matter a whole lot as long as I don't have to change my tuning (B standard 5-string).

it's one of the most boring genres. all songs sound the same
