You have tits!?
With all those chemicals and additives the government put in our food, who doesn't nowadays!
Really skinny, petite women, and runway models?
Really skinny, petite women, and runway models?
Aren't they supposed to have tits?
Have you ever seen a Prada runway model? I don't think girls with tits are allowed to wear any of their things! EDIT: Getting back on track, I'm looking to get a cheap $20 1/4 to 1/8 adapter to start recording my own music on my desktop. Would Audacity be good-enough quality to just record my ideas on, or should I look to invest in an actual sound engineering program and a new sound card?
Aren't they supposed to have tits?
it depends on the season and what's 'in'
With all those chemicals and additives the government put in our food, who doesn't nowadays!
Well I do but that is because of the weight I put on... These man boobs GOTTA GO! It's only 50 lbs though, I lost well over 100 over the last few years. Being unemployed helped me gain a little of it back. That is what I use and I love it. The interface is really simple but it has all of the functions you would need to start recording. But a good sound card is kind of needed. I would save up some cash and invest in a decent audio interface such as a PreSonus Audiobox or Focusrite Scarlett. You can get something like this to start out with... http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/behringer-guitar-link-ucg102-usb-interface But I am the kind of person who likes to buy something once and you will outgrow that interface.

Incidentally, and a lot of people seem to get this wrong, Audacity is absolutely fine for recording and audio editing, it's bad at sequencing and automation. Those only matter once you start getting into virtual instruments and album mixing and everything else. If literally all you're doing is taking a guitar and recording shit directly as it comes out, you don't need anything else.
Thanks. Yeah, I'm pretty sure whatever sound card I have is just a cheapo. Sys info says nothing more than NVIDIA Audo something, so I'm sure I'm going to need to upgrade that. But yes, I'm not planning on doing anything but recording and mixing tracks I play with actual instruments. Nothing synthetic or added on like that.
My parts are coming in tomorrow, yay. Also, my # of unread emails is 5150 right now. Cool little EVH thing here.
What kind of parts are you getting? And ha, if you think that's bad; I'm at 19,570 unread emails in my three gmails combined as one. :v I just spent twenty minutes trying to find an email I needed for a lab write-up because I had forgotten I read it and marked it as an archived message.
I'm getting a bridge, a tele control plate and a neckplate with screws. Basically, more stuff I need to put together a guitar. Next purchases would be machine heads and pickguard material and pots and shit.
well that's the Kramer in for maintenance. at a glance the dude said the truss rod was loose and the action was too low. funny, considering I had the saddles slammed before and it wasn't that bad buzz-wise. and he tightened the truss rod about a month ago. oh well. just as long as it plays well when I get it back, I don't really care.
I gotta replace the truss rod nut on my ibanez, the hex hole cracked and upon trying to get the thing out one of the sides completely sheared off. Now I gotta drill it and use a screw extractor to get it out. Luckily for me the neck wasn't back bowed when it happened so I can still play it.
Got my parts now. Gonna have some fun at school tomorrow then.
http://www.northridgehardwoods.com/ This place has some beautiful tonewoods on sale. ive been thinking of buying some, but have no idea where to get started on a guitar.
My local music shop is closing after 35 years, they are liquidating their stock up to 40% off, it's a shame because it was only few bus stops away from me, staff was always nice and helpful, first thing you notice when you walk in is the whole wall with Gibson guitars hanging down with all possible models, SG's, Flying V's, Explorer's, Les Paul's, it makes me sad to see them go after such long time.
It seems a lot of the smaller shops are closing down or selling cheap versions of guitars. No one is buying a whole lot of guitars because all the ones everyone wants are $3000 because Gibson and Fender. Also economy problems, etc.
any tips on how to improve your speed and agility on the left hand besides just playing? when playing chords or tabs that requrie a lot of movement, I find that my leftie's shit.
any tips on how to improve your speed and agility on the left hand besides just playing? when playing chords or tabs that requrie a lot of movement, I find that my leftie's shit.
Start jacking off with your left instead of right. Na just kidding Keep practicing them chords and tabs take it slow and gradually attempt to build up speed to the pace of the song.
sorry only read first line of your post your input shall be considered brb off to hot girls thread

Also, before you play make sure you warm up. I find I'm often sluggish when starting to play, but after properly warming up, I can play fluidly. Sorry, but basically the way you gain speed is muscle memory and you gain that from practice mainly.
feels a bit weird having to ask if this is the right place but you seem like a fair bunch and this isn't thread worthy, just a little favour for yours truly i'm looking for the guitar chords played throughout this song. i think they're fairly simple but i don't currently have my guitar in my possession and would like to know what they are so i can attempt to play them the next time i get my hands on one it's pretty much just the first 30 or so seconds worth, which is a little dead simple pattern then 6 chords. any help would be greatly appreciated! [editline]11th April 2013[/editline] in fact i think it's just 3 chords, maybe 4?
The only chords I can hear are a C Major and D Major played as bar chords from the A string the little weird bit is just F# and E Then again I can't hear shit
