Wasn't there some other track that came out with some version of Cowboys that they did around 88-89? I think it was called The Will to Survive or something like that. I may be wrong about all this but fuck it
[editline]4th November 2014[/editline]
btw Rex uses a pick doesn't he?
Yeah, The Will To Survive was on the 20th anniversary re-release of Cowboys From Hell. Good song as well, but it didn't fit with the rest of the album, you can clearly tell it was from their glam days. And yeah, Rex uses a pick. I know he used a Fender for some of the early Pantera stuff but I don't know when he switched to using Jackson stuff.

I remember my singer saying that when he saw the album art he burst out laughing and whenever he wants a chuckle, he'll look at it again.

Time of your life by Greenday is a good acoustic song, I'm currently learning Somebody to Love by Jefferson Airplane which is pretty easy if you have a Capo too.

the neil young version
Recording my strat through a Fender Super Sonic 22 into 2" tape today, I can't wait to hear the result.
So I just made a full cover (all instruments + vocals) of "lunar caustic" by obscure sphinx (the band that I met personally a week ago). Many camera angles, everything Caynug (my artist name) styled  Check it out fellow guitar gods (I keep saying guitar gods in here, I love you guys).

So it'll be nice when I get my mockingbird in Feb, but there seems to be a slight problem.
Nobody makes cases for it.
:(

:(
then just buy a soft bag, BC Rich make their own specifically for the Mockie
speaking of BC Rich and cases, i'm still drooling after this

what sort of bag/case would that thing fit in?
a plastic bag
a black one
A bag for Biches
Aw shit guys, the cover I posted up there got shared by obscure sphinx the band itself on their facebook page :v:!
Wait until you see the double neck version...

thanks now I have to clean up all this vomit
BC rich actually used to make really okay guitars, now it's all Black veil brides, what with the spikes and the constant screaming, it gets me so tired.
I actually have one of these, minus pretty much all the hardware, in my closet, and boy is it playable.
[IMG_thumb]http://i44.tinypic.com/4s1m6q.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
My dad literally said, "Don't be surprised if it's not in good condition, i don't mean to be racist but the guy who used to have it was black." when he gave it to me.
It had all the pickups wired to one single tone pot, with a dongle of a jack hanging out. on the back the guy had wired a stethiscope to listen to it acoustically, and drilled more than a few screws into the upper and lower horns, as well as replaced the kahler with a fender knockoff. Of course, instead of the hugely appreciative Gibson scaling, it had it's 6th string literally two millimeters off the fretboard on the upper register. I really wish it had the kahler flyer still in it, because that would cost basically the exact same as the price my dad could have bought a new one for.
Luckily for me, it had the original tuners, Grover made ones, that are still buttery smooth.
I still will never know why my dad was so racist at that particular moment, but i do know this...
It sounds good with a proper bridge, and an EMG in the bridge.
the BC Rich catalogue was actually pretty interesting in the 80's
but we ain't in the 80's and now everything is brutal and dark and edgy...er
Got my Morley, only problem is this thing squeaks like a bitch. Is WD40 fine to use on it?

Yeah my father has an 80's B.C. Rich Warlock Rave II which was made before they got bought out. It's an amazing guitar to play, I hate exotic body shapes but I pretty much learned how to play guitar on it when I first started. I played that and his 1982 Ibanez BL-350 until they bought me my first guitar.
B.C. Rich and Ibanez hold a very special place in my heart because of that.

Please tell me that's some sort of accessory or a term I've never heard of and not an actual goddamn stethoscope.
Because if it isn't, that's legitimately one of the most retarded things I've ever heard.
B.C. Rich before they got bought out.
i've heard people say that BC Rich used to make some sick shit and then got all stale after the Moser lawsuit thing. any knowledge/opinion on tat?

Internal Cannon (acoustic)

It's exactly what you're thinking. He taped it and soldered it to the metal springs under the guitar. i just misspelled it.
I wouldn't mind owning a mockingbird under the right circumstances but the list of guitars I'd rather own is pretty long
I tried a mockingbird, a cheaper model ( I think) and the neck was really wide. I'd love to have one, but I'd have to know I'll like the feel of it.

The option to learn the chords to a full band song and minimize the instrumentation is always open.
Got my new D'addarios yesterday, gonna string up tomorrow and break them in a bit. I love having new strings. Once I get my new job, I'm going to save for a couple of weeks and get myself a new guitar for sure. I'm really not sure what I would get since my budget would be a bit bigger than what it has been previously. I think the Fender Modern Player Strat would probably be my choice. A decent spec guitar, everything I would want for a decent price. Plus it comes in white and I want a white guitar.
Decided I'm not gonna spend anymore time with this cheapy strat, gonna buy a Squier or something and roll with that from now on.
if youre upgrading to your second guitar you should invest at least $500 or so into it.
I always wondered why people have many guitars??
I can see the benefit from having an acoustic, and different electric guitars with different tunings.
But other than that, what's the catch? To me, the sound they produce are not strikingly different enough for me to waste money on more guitars.
I'm still stuck with my Epiphone Dot which I enjoy to some extent - still thinking about getting one with more kick to it. Getting something affordable but good with a whammy and a killswitch would probably keep me going for a long time.
