Every music store sells a similar kit for $200, however it's usually a squier strat with a frontman 10g.

Stumbled upon this dude. Fucking neat.
You guys got ideas how I could modify the look of my yamaha rbx white 5 string? I need ideas (please no monster energy drink stickers or shit like that :v:)

On the subject of modifying guitars I got bored so I opened photoshop and speculated what I want my explorer to look like.

That is what I came up with.
this is what I came up with

before I die, I will get a fuzzy guitar.
if you guys could make your own custom guitar what would it be like? I would personally have a bass with a jazz body, precision neck, G&L style bridge, precision pickups in the usual spot and a jazz pickup in the bridge. I would also have stacked tone and volume knobs for each pickup (like on the Jaguar basses) and in the spot where the tiny knob is on a regular jazz bass I want a 3 way pickup selecter because I'm not a huge fan of blend knobs.
Played around in photoshop with my bass and thought I just make some weird repaintings maybe I find one I actually want to do. Suggestions?

I like the first one the most, still not all that happy with these ideas.

I would divide it in half between black and white, to echo what is already going on in the headstock. As it sits in the picture, maybe paint the upper part white.
I might jump into photoshop later and give my take on it, I have been drinking so now is not a good time..

I actually have that same exact bass, i got it for 100 USD at a guitar center who listed the price wrong in san fransisco. It's actually a really good one, and i'm glad i was able to get it, especially for that price.
Think anyone can decode the tabs for this one?

In other news, I decided to look up the tabs for Scarified today.
I came and started farting immediately after the tabs displayed.

The first bit of scarified is all I have learned so far, it took a bit to learn but it is easy to play now. I have no clue how to even approach the rest of the song...
So I decided to sell my Bugera 333XL infinium for 350€ because I switch slots from guitar to bass in my band.
I hope the Hartke HA2500 combined with 2 4x10 hartke TP410 cabs will be enough power for gigs.
Also I am looking forward to the bass photoshops, 2 people in the photoshop section already did edits to it  will post them later.

It came perfect out of the box, daddario strings and nearly perfect setup! I dropped it down to A (whole tone) and adjusted string height and pickup height for slapping and boom it's perfect.

I actually did that but forgot to upload the picture, will do later
Getting some awesome heavy tones with the POD HD, I love distortion bass it adds so much to the overrall tone

I couldn't hear a thing but my dog was going nuts... Actually no he wasn't. I don't have a dog anymore. :suicide:
Guitar myth busted for the day, you can easily do pinch harmonics with your neck pickup.
Confirmed.
what do harmonics have to do with pickups
what do harmonics have to do with pickups
People seem to think it is harder to do pinch harmonics with the neck pickup, and I think it is that fucker Scott Grove spreading around his bullshit. I guess he made a video about pinch harmonics and said you can't do them with the neck pickup.
you can do string harmonics on guitars that ~dont have pickups at all~
it's harder to get them with the neck pickup, unless you've got a lot of distortion going on.
