I bought Roto bass strings and straight on they didn't sound all that different to others, but after about a week, they deadened a little and transitioned into that sweet Roto signature tone. Sounds good.

On a les paul style guitar I love the pickup selector right near the neck pickup. I guess if I ever got one for cheap I could just relocate the switch to that position.

So, I'm seeing Iron Maiden at the o2 in London in August. Can't fucking wait.

I saw them in 2011 in Aberdeen which was incredible, they had Airbourne supporting them back then. I dunno what's happening for support this time.

Don't worry about it.

So I got drunk last night and put some dunlop 10-46 gauge strings on my ibanez. And you know what, they aren't that bad. I like the tension of them, they almost feel like the 10-52 I usually use. They sound good too. I don't think they will pull me away from my d'addario strings though.

basically if you use the frets on the guitar you are a pussy, always chug drop d opens.

Fucking amazing to still see them going after all these years. I actually went to school with the son of the lead singers cousin. I ended up getting to meet Chris Ballew some time around 1997, and he was the coolest guy. He just always wanted to laugh and have fun. Not long after that I asked my father to buy me a drumset and I started my adventure into learning instruments. Fuck what a moment in time.
