If you are really sure you can probably pick up a cheap replacement on ebay, or just do what Phil X would do, just rip it out and throw a hot wheels in it's place.
uh yeah so funny story.... it didnt work 2 nights agos but after i threw some new strings on it and had it all together, I played it today and it works fine. i blame ancient aliens...

What I do see though is that pickup of sorts placed right in front of the bridge. Leads me to believe it is some kind of acoustic pickup attached to an external preamp.
that's a roland midi synth thing. I don't remember what it's called
So after a quick conversation with a friend I just remembered this little thing called a roland synth pickup, that is what he has on his guitar. [editline]1st August 2013[/editline]
that's a roland midi synth thing. I don't remember what it's called
YOU NINJA!
Thanks guys.

I accidentally figured out the riff to man who sold the world.
I accidentally figured out the riff to man who sold the world.
I love when that happens, I end up figuring out a lot of songs by accident. Mostly though it is usually the jangles from commercials or some stupid crap.
probably the worst moment in all my 7 or so years of playing was when I accidentally played the opening to smells like teen spirit
I hate when my band jams and this happens: "woa cool man that sounded great, let's build up on this idea" we play and we play until I stop playing and say "hold on hold on... isn't that this one korn song?" "ahhh fuck!"
You guys can help me with the blues? I have looked and it's always the same tabs for the licks I am looking for. I am looking for some licks in G or I should say the first frets or whatever and it's always the same crap. Any books or websites would be awesome.
Or this other time that my band just jammed: We played some of the heaviest shit imaginable (groovy slow 8 string shit not death metal stuff) and our vocalist black rapper (30 year old ex irag/afghanistan military blackest person ever) just opened the window and lit up his ganja and we somehow inhaled the stuff and started going from slow headbang music to even slower ganja raggae mixed with groove metal choruses and all that jazz. All I only could understand from our vocalist was "babylon--- babylooon back to babylon" after 20 minutes we stop and all I could say into the mic was "what the fuck was that, did we just turn babylon 420 ganja for life blaze it faggot or what" [editline]2nd August 2013[/editline] Best thing is: Next to our room was this pure raggae band playing loudly and all they ever heard from us before was this heavy groove metal stuff and suddenly we do raggae too. They might thought we try to mock them...
Can low action cause string noise, because my playing has lots of string noise on one guitar but on the other it's clean, the only difference between the two is the action.
Can low action cause string noise, because my playing has lots of string noise on one guitar but on the other it's clean, the only difference between the two is the action.
Very much so, raise the action till it stops or until it is too high for you.
Very much so, raise the action till it stops or until it is too high for you.
Cheers man, it worked.

We'll get something great going and then it turns into something so great we can even believe that we wrote it... and then it turns out that we didn't. Although to be fair, there's nothing wrong with doing a good cover of a good song. [editline]2nd August 2013[/editline]
Cheers man, it worked.
Yah I'm thinking about having Nazareth on speedial for my music problems

I know that sounds cheesy but it's a personality with some music on top of it, not just music. Blues without personality is just Eric Clapton.
Blues without personality is just Eric Clapton.
oh he didn't just...
tuned my 7 string to F jésus
really enjoying blues even though I only know one blues scale and I just use backing tracks :v:
there's more than one blues scale?
cba to do mixing that I'm not getting paid for
Sorry, guitar rig done that already for the same price.
I'm looking to buy a new head. Currently I'm using my friends Peavey Valveking and I absolutely hate the thing. I have around 600 dollars to blow, any suggestions?
tuned my 7 string to F jésus
djesus*
I remember when I used to be able to tune my guitar to B standard with 10-46 strings, I had such a soft touch back then though. I can't even play in C without some sharp floppy strings anymore.
i usually break 9s if i play too old of a set.
