My goodness
it sounds dumb i know, but i didnt notice any problems with the tuning at all and the strings still sounded good. i have to replace my electric strings once every month though.
Havent changed strings for almost 1 and a half year on my baritone :v: and it sounds good... shameless music advertising :v: strings sound fine tho! http://caynug.bandcamp.com/track/nobody
I just can't be bothered changing strings, I'll usually change them every 3 - 7 months but mine seem to last for a while.
I've had mine on for 2 months now. Thinking of getting either 9s or 11s next time.

Also, I love bramhall because we play the same way, upside down! :v: the best bit is that clapton got his hair cut again and looks awesome now On another topic, is there an active forum for people to talk about guitars and learning? :v:

I'm going to learn For the Love of God by Steve Vai, I'll put my lead playing skills to the test, also bought usb cable for my guitar so I can use my soundcard, luckily there isn't any terrible delay with it.

holy shit fingertapping is easy as in i'd thought it'd be really hard to do it at even medium tempo and you'd have to practice for weeks but no it's nice
holy shit fingertapping is easy as in i'd thought it'd be really hard to do it at even medium tempo and you'd have to practice for weeks but no it's nice
I tend to get blisters from tapping, but it's really fun to do.

I've never actually learned any Vai, surprisingly. Also, let us know how the USB does. I like my 1/4-1/8 adapter, but am having a hard time getting the effects to transfer correctly.

I like my 1/4-1/8 adapter, but am having a hard time getting the effects to transfer correctly.
The only problem I get with this usb cable this far is when I plug it there is no sound, so I have to go to recording settings switch off "listen to this device" hit apply, then turn it back on and hit apply, then I can hear my guitar normally in headphones, good thing about this is you can pretty much run your guitar through the effect pedals and it affects the sound coming out like it would normally when you have it plugged into your amp. I was trying out Guitar Rig but I don't like it, it causes problems with detecting connection quite often, other than that it works as good as long as your pc is fast enough, for recording you need ASIO4ALL driver if you use Adobe Audition, but if it's something like Audacity then there is no problem at all.
I could never do that to my guitar, I'd be too scared to.
I just got my first electric guitar.
I could never do that to my guitar, I'd be too scared to.
Wait, scared with what?, not sure what you're referring to.
I just got my first electric guitar.
Congratulations, tell us what type of model do you have.

Sales guy told me that a New one would have gone for 300 $. Its in the trunk of my car right now so I can't get a picture.

I want another guitar too. :v:

Just got done sitting in with a friend on Google Hangout to talk to Brendon Small, my friend was doing a presentation about Metalocalypse for his animation class and Brendon was cool enough to do a quick interview with him. I guess my friend just sent him an email and he said "alright, let's do it." Kind of cool. He is a really nice guy, after he got done with the question he sat there for about 35 minutes just chatting with us. He found out I was a guitarist because he saw my explorer behind me so we ended up chatting about guitars for a moment. Overall just a cool guy, really funny too. It would seem like he never takes anything too serious haha.
Drop A on gibson scale with 58s, surprisingly my guitar is holding the tune. But I learned to play this
Only Jimmy would pull out his Fender Electric 12 for that song. I <3 Jimmy Page

That is hot. Indonesian, but it seems to be well made. You should have fun with it.
my MH-400nt is having tuning problems as of recently on basically all of the strings i don't know if it's the nut, bridge, warped neck (highly doubt and hopefully not) or tuning machines that's the issue [editline]27th October 2013[/editline] heeeeelp
If you switched to a different gauge string recently, it's probably that the nut slots aren't cut to the right size for those strings.
