Got a little bored so I decided to get rid of some of the clutter inside my explorer's control cavity.

Just a little bit too much extra wire and while I was in there I switched the volume controls around, now the bridge pickup is controlled by the knob closest to the bridge. Makes my life a little bit easier to get to it when I need to now.

It's not a genre, it's a way of life.
Well my fender cd 60 ce mahogany acoustic arrived  can't wait to test it in 3 hours when I am home from work! I might record something nice for you guys...
I need some irregular acoustic chord progressions to dick around with. I feel like I'm confined to stuff like Am and E, I want to go on to irregular things like that C chord that was moved up a step and then some that I posted a page back

There are so many songs out there that it's hard to even know where to start, but here's a favorite of mine that includes your transposed open C shape, which I believe is actually called Dsus4add9:
When the ship comes in by bob dylan: G, Dsus4add9 (your C moved up a step, or Bm as substitute), C, G, Em, C, do that twice then the turnaround is G then D, then the second part of the verse is Dsus4add9, C, G, Dsus4add9, C, G, Dsus4add9, C, G, hold on G, then D and back to the beginning. You'll hear the changes in the song.

I have a CD-160SE-12, which is essentially yours but with a spruce top and 12 strings. The mahogany they put on the back and sides of mine has a fantastic ripple to the grain that makes the back of the guitar look like a striped animal, so I'm sure yours with the mahogany top looks amazing. The quality of construction is high and the materials used are absolutely great, especially for a relatively inexpensive chinese acoustic. I mean there are lots of guitars around this price range that don't look or sound anywhere near as nice as these.
why dont you just call that Em9?
I did a thing. I played at a "Coffeehouse" fundraiser sort of thingy, doing a blues jam with my friend and band's guitarist.
We didn't do that well. He was too quiet and we didn't keep the rhythm consistent, goofed up with the progression, ect. We actually started again, and went through.

What's it called when someone describes chords as like "i vi iii" and stuff? I can't find anywhere to learn about that

I only know the Dutch name for it, basically translates to steps.

It refers to the chord's relationship to the tonic of the key.
So a I in C is a C major, a ii is a D minor and so on.
Upper case means major, lower case means minor.
The harmonic sequence is Major, minor, minor, major, major, minor, diminished. So, I ii iii IV V vi viio
Woo, just got a double encore in Rocksmith! Oh wait, they want me to play Rockstar :suicide:
man finally playing after being sick for several days feels good
I usually like playing when I am sick because I can focus on something else while I am playing.
I just set up the intonation for my guitar and adjusted the action. Sounds and feels so much better.

I remember a day when I didn't know how to do all of that and my guitar always sounded out of tune... Dark days...

my action is so perfect for me that i'm scared to even change strings and fuck it all up
my action is so perfect for me that i'm scared to even change strings and fuck it all up
You don't want to know how much work it took to make a 090 064 etc set work on my 6 string baritone.
I'd like to change the action on my acoustic but I've genuinely strung it so poorly that I think the strings are going to be impossible to get back on properly
also I don't know how to change the action :v: I want to lower it because the strings are so fucking far from the fretboard that barre chords are painful to do in comparison to my strat which is 500 times more comfortable
any guitar shop will adjust it for like $5 lol
