This:buddy:
I have absolutely zero respect for psychics and people like them. Preying on people trying to deal with loss, telling them what they want to hear as long as you keep the money flowing. It is the most pathetic way to make a living I can come up with.
My dad went to one once, was convinced he was told the truth. I feel sorry for the people who fall for it.
I love tarot cards. If you get it wrong just say it's upside down and it means the opposite. Each card has so many meanings too I can never remember even half of them.
Ambiguity is pretty much the cornerstone of all these hoaxes. Whether it be telling the future, contacting the dead, tarot cards or even astrology.

I'm sorry for your loss.
My mom trusts horoscopes, even if she checks three different ones which all contradicts themselves :v:

Thats way cooler than psychics :downs:
OP should kill his parents.
It's the only solution.
Your Mom has psyche cancer
Dr. Facepunch Out
I was asked to write my details on a piece of paper, and give them in to a blind folded `physic` claiming that the paper was just there to see if he was right.
I scribbled over it with a pen that had run out, and the physic failed
I live in dubai, meaning I don't pay taxes :3:
...you just pay through the nose for any property you buy
Hey guys, I'm claiming that I can contact the dead, I'm automatically a psychic, mmmmkay?
Now pay me money to make up stuff for them to say.
Only a good ol' beating will cure the disease called "Christianity"

if it going to a psychic helps someone cope with something then its worth it
and people need to make a living somehow
She misses them. Leave her alone, she will get over it.
Not before the memories of her parents are twisted and ruined by the 'psychic'.

Psychics don't help people with grief. Just as often they leave bigger problems in the wake. No one should make their living off of peoples grief like that.
I tricked somebody into thinkig I was psychic and gave them a message from their nan on their dads side that they never met.
It's remarkably easy.
i'm psychic
i predict everyone in this thread will pay taxes!
oogidy boogidy!
Sounds like a challenge.
Some people find it hard to cope with the deaths of loved ones, so they turn to fairy stories like Heaven or psychics who are able to speak to the dead or reincarnation to cope.
So long as they're happy and not harming anyone else, what does it matter? Humour her.

No, all this extrasensoric crap is against one of the 7 deadly sins
Dude, does this HAVE to involve religion? We get it. You are athiest. What do you want a cookie? Anyway, you really need to have a talk with the Psychic about the problem, tell them to stop fucking with your moms mind.
Go to a mall or somewhere, tell your mom your going to the psychic, go back 45 minutes later, tell her that that the psychic got arrested for getting VERY trippy during the job. It's fool-proof, or in this case, mom proof. :smug::hf::smug:

I meant misinformed
Also I'm not sure Christians care about the 7 deadly sins anymore
At least not the ones I know
Slap The Bitch.
All you people saying that psychics help people coping with the death of someone close to them, you couldn't be more wrong. All it does is convince the person that the end isn't the end, and instead of helping them accept the fact that they are gone, they're just reinforcing this delusion. Having someone close to you die isn't a pleasent event, but you need to work it out, not convince yourself that everything is AOK.
Don't worry, my Mum's a fucking nutter too.
I went to Lillydale with a friend and his parents. I was told by a psychic that I had the ability to dowse for water and that I have an Indian guardian spirit watching over me. Oh and apparently my dead grandfather who has red hair was talking to her.
P.S. my grandfather had black hair.
