it's bass holy shit you guys need to get out more
Sorry for a spelling error! The nerve of some people.
I came in here hoping you were turning into this; I am dissapointed.
Listen to drum and bass!
It's not enough bass if shit isn't falling off the walls.
Holy hell I have never seen such a retarded reason for asking people for help. What exactly is your problem? Nothing. Embrace your love for bass. Make it part of your life. Use it to your advantage, make it part of your daily success. But don't worry about it, that's the most important thing to keep in mind.

sometime it's the best part of the song

overly bassy is bad. you need a good balance. bass should compliment music, not overwhelm the music
Yeah man! Wait, wrong kind of bass. I <3 my paint skills

I always turn up the bass on bands like motorhead, Iron Maiden and Rush as they have awsome bassists, which I want to be as good as (or better). But their bass-lines are rarely 'thumping'.
The bass in Deadmau5 - Satisfaction is quite nice.
All you need for good car audio is a good power amp, a good head unit, and good speakers. Subwoofers are just something extra that you don't really need if you have good quality hardware already. The amplifier is crucial and can turn a good quality but inefficient set of speakers into something amazing sounding (eg: Bose 901s.) Amplifiers don't just mean more power = how loud your speakers can be. Buy Alpine everything. Problem solved.
No man, you need a tube amplifier and a record player. :fuckyou:
The bass in Deadmau5 - Satisfaction is quite nice.
He masters all of his music very nicely, actually. It's very well balanced, so it is bass driven, but not overly bassy if that makes sense. Its not even the basic bass music. I'm turning up the bass on my standard songs like music from videogames and shit. I've heard some of Deadmau5's stuff and its pretty good.
A lot of times when you see bands/DJs/Electronic Performers live they suck at EQing, but it also depends on the venue. Every time I've seen deadmau5 he has done a great job of balancing everything out, so it's a much more enjoyable experience.
Bass is good, but it shouldn't be the main attraction
I detest bass. It's tolerable in moderation but I'm so fucking sick of music that just blares synthetic bass beats.
Buy better quality headphones/speakers so you don't HAVE to turn it up so loud to hear the bass.
Is it bad that i always turn up the treble on my EQ?
Is it bad that i always turn up the treble on my EQ?
Not necessarily. You just prefer a sound that has a bit more treble. I like a more balanced sound with a little added bass. Everyone listens to music differently.
Stop. Phone speakers can't even produce bass. You're now "that guy" to everyone you know and passes you in the street. Wait until you get some headphones, and when you do, don't get obnoxiously tinny ones which everyone can still hear around you.
In-Ear Earphones bud.

Bass makes music more powerful
:buddy: There's a reason I have a sub in my car
i like the bass to this one
It has to do with frequency dynamics. You see, research has shown that listeners connect emotionally with songs that have abrupt changes in the extreme upper and lower frequencies. However, these changes can obscure melody and tone in songs so listeners that are interested in chord progressions and such don't need that insane thump for them to appreciate a song.
