I've been to Hawaii for a while and it's not that bad, I admit the Random rainings are quite annoying, but it's an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, what do you expect? Rain to fall at your will? It's still a beautiful place with many interesting places, and this is just the actual Hawaii Island.

I was born in Hawaii and lived a good portion of my life there. I basically agree with everything in the OP. I lived in Kauai, which isn't [i]as[/i] bad, at least I don't remember it being as bad.

One of my mom's friends lived in Hawaii for a year. Says it's an absolute shithole and he ended up pretty much living in a bush for the whole time because everything is so fucked.

Sounds exactly Like Miami Florida. I was born and raised there. it's a terrible place to live. so much violence and drug use. my high school was the worse. I was the minority there which was less than 1%. I'm white. Nothing racial at all. I just hated the way a lot of people behaved. gang violence everyday. We didnt have school security, we had Miami Dade Police set up at our school. Black Americans against Hatians or "Zoes". Many Hispanic gangs as well. I've seen a person get beat up by 5 other gang members. it was brutal. not in a cool way. Hurricanes suck balls people. Every year boarding up your windows just to go outside 4 hours later and not know where the fuck you are because nothing looks the same as it did before the storm. it gets extremely humid there too. it cost way too much to live there. Everyone is an asshole. I had like 3 friends. it was terrible. You'd hear about children being murdered and shit like every week some where in south Florida. Trust me you don't wanna live in Miami either unless you're rich and live in a respectable neighborhood. Even then you still have to go in the city. Sure you can go to the beach, or The florida keys, the beach is bad ass. the water is nice. but thats about it. its a nice vacation spot, it really is. but living there is expensive and not worth the crime that comes with it.
I recently moved to Little Rock Arkansas about 2 years ago. Talk about culture shock. The weather is worse here. it rains for weeks on end and when it gets cold enough to snow, it just rains and its miserable. Crime is bad here as well but nowhere near as Miami in my opinion since i lived there for 16 years. And the meth labs. they are everywhere. I mean ive never been to Hawaii, but meth is pretty popular here too. Evey year at the high school here they have a presentation to the students about meth and what it does to you. then some guest speaker who lived in a house hold with meth users or whatever. pretty sad and fucked up. I went to a strip club the other week with a buddy of mine for the first time and I saw bruises and track marks on 2 of the girls. We were there for 10 minutes before we decided to leave. but the main thing that came a surprise to me were the people. The people in AR are really friendly and nice. I've never been treated as nice in Miami than I did in Little Rock.
tl;dr- Miami sucks, Little Rock Arkansas sucks less.
