No. I need an excuse in case there's a draft again
As long as he doesn't touch my private anatomy or ask for sex I wouldn't care.
Think of how many straight women think exactly the same thing about you. Homosexuals aren't all raving cock-hounds of hell.
I wouldn't have a problem serving alongside a homosexual. As already said, just because they're gay doesn't mean they're going to rape you.
if gays are banned then mixed-sex units should be banned, we need to segregate the sexes in case people give in to their hormones like the lusty teenagers they are :rolleye:
Gays should be allowed to serve. If you put your life on the line and was, instead of being commemorated for it, insulted and stigmatised just because you have different interests to the majority how would you feel?
That rules man! "Soldier you have to leave your family and risk your life in Iraq!" "I'm gay lol" "Oh uh, gtfo then"
That rules man! "Soldier you have to leave your family and risk your life in Iraq!" "I'm gay lol" "Oh uh, gtfo then"
I PROMISE you, if there was a really serious war and they had to instill a draft, DADT would be history. My goal is to see that removed before WWIII.
they suld just keep it. if they dont know. there is no problem. if they know. there will always be some one who will be stupid and make someone got off the edge.
Yes.
no you're there to serve your country, not hook up with faggots
no you're there to serve your country, not hook up with faggots
That isn't the point you fuckup. Also yes. [editline]02:16PM[/editline] I can call him a fuckup because he insulted a whole group.
Why the hell would you go to the army and start talking about how you like it up the ass? The military is for serving your country not prancing about and being happy for the fact that you are gay.
Why the hell would you go to the army and start talking about how you like it up the ass? The military is for serving your country not prancing about and being happy for the fact that you are gay.
Yeah but that's not the case. The issue here is that they can't let anyone know they're gay. They have to keep it a secret, and that's fucked up.
I don't see why not. If they love their country enough to die for it, as much as they do for another man, that dosnt bother anything.
I dont care.
Yeah but that's not the case. The issue here is that they can't let anyone know they're gay. They have to keep it a secret, and that's fucked up.
And how hard exactly is it to keep it a secret? I don't think your sexuality is an everyday topic you accidentally talk about everyday, now is it? Yes, sure, the whole idea that ''boohoo we can't tell that we are gay'', but is someone asking you whether you are gay everyday?
I don't really care...
Why can't it just stay the way it is?
Yes because it does not hinder them in anyway, they are just as good as straight people.
Yeah, there's no point as to why gays/lesbians cannot serve. They can fight as well as straight soldiers do.
That's not the point to why the policy was put there in the first place. There are supporters of "Don't ask, don't tell" who believe that openly homosexual soldiers cause discomfort and hinder performance to the straight ones. So basically "it's not that the gay ones aren't good fighters, it's that they would make the straight ones worse at it."
Well saying it would be cheaper than discharging gay military personnel is not true. If people where allowed to be openly gay in the military I bet just about everyone would get "contract" marriages just to live off base and military would have to provide basic Housing Allowance and all kinds of cool stuff.

No. Also, >implying straight people don't do the same thing.
