No.
They've had 2 years developing the android to make it better than any iPod touch/ iPhone and yet I still see new devices being pushed out with poor performance, bad apps and unresponsive touch pads. Meanwhile my year-old 3Gs can still use the latest app releases, which launch instantly, and it still runs as flawlessly and as fast as it did on day one. Quit bitching about Apple and accept that they make good products.
No.

Unreal engine 3 aka UDK has iphone, ipad platform now...

Everyone wants it on their devices, and there is nothing to govern how well those devices will run it. As for iOS, you're paying a premium for a really ok mobile operating system designed with a certain piece of hardware in mind. On the other hand, Android is a developer's wet dream, while iOS is a developer's recurring nightmare. Being open source, anyone who wishes to do so can modify, redistribute, and even sell their own custom Android distributions, whereas with iOS, you're limited to one interface, one kernel, one this one that, etc. I'll admit, iOS is the better operating system for the average person, but as soon as you get into the people who really know what they're doing with their gadgets, iOS stops looking so attractive, and Android becomes the better choice. oh, and I'd like to see you overclock your 3GS. I'm sitting here happily with my 691 MHz HTC Hero (one of the earliest Android phones) running Cyanogenmod 6 (a rom not exactly known for it's friendliness on older phones) and it's still wonderful. Everything loads almost instantly, everything is smooth, multitouch is great, screen is beautiful, etc.
Really though, the OP has shot down pretty much every query regarding whether or not this is functionally possible. Remember, if there's one rule in game design, it's that there's no such thing as a failure until it's been tried, as you can't fail without trying. For all we know, we could be staring a fantastic idea right in the face, as something that looks good on paper may not work in real life, and in contrast, something that looks crap may turn out to be great when put into practise. I suggest getting a few simple models to try this out first however, just a few placeholders to help tweak the gameplay for the touch screen before large amounts of time are invested into graphics, and to actually see if this is any good. And of course, even a half decent game will gain fans (Although I'm no saying you should release a only slightly good game, it'll help make it stand out amongst the 5 minute apps)

Terrible idea
You couldn't call it Counter-Strike without VALVe's permission.
This guy couldn't have put it any better.
pirating on android is probably the easiest thing ever
Uhh, just because it's open source doesn't mean it doesn't have any DRM. It's probably easier on iPhone with Installous and all.
Uhh, just because it's open source doesn't mean it doesn't have any DRM. Be sure to add autoaim, you can't aim for shit without it.
No offense but you don't sound like a competent developer.
He isn't. Worked with him before, didn't really care much about the team to the extent that he blew off the project and didn't tell any of us.
I'd hop in here and be all like, Oh, I have an iPhone Developers License and all the latest iOS devices at my fingertips, but no. This isn't worth it.
Looks like he doesn't have much of a good reputation then.
He isn't. If you want to be mad at someone then be mad at the character modelers who never did the work they agreed to do. This doesn't need to be discussed further. I've gotten enough feedback for this idea, and I'm going to go ahead with it because I agree with the people here who see potential. I'll be back when I have a prototype to show.
It will take more than a month.
Why would anyone want this? The controls would be absolute shit.
If there are compatible gamepads for the Idevices then it's a good idea, but otherwise it seems too competitive of a game for a control scheme where your hands need to be in the way of the screen...

would be better on android (keyboards)
I'll be back when I have a prototype to show.
so, never
It will take more than a month.
no it wont

Not my point though. My point is that you're a terrible team leader. So bad you can't even officially call off a project but instead let the team continue creating content until the website mysteriously goes offline. Besides, if any user just looked at the amount of threads you've made it's easy to tell your over ambitious and never finish anything you start. Prove me wrong though, finish this project.
Yeah lets take the most esports competitive shooter in the world and put it on the most casual device in the world. Great fucking logic. EDIT: What next ? Starcraft 2 on a wii ?
Just call Gameloft, they have no problems ripping off other games.
Do Gameloft rip off any games ? I thought they made those games with Ubisoft's permission
Just call Gameloft, they have no problems ripping off other games.
I think they do it quite well though.
