If you consider overplayed shit to be real music, then yeah, I'm not fond of it at all.
I absolutely fucking hate this argument with a passion.
Just because it's overplayed doesn't make it shit, I can understand you being tired of hearing the same stuff over and over again but if it's popular then it's likely that the music is at least decent.
I hate this trend of people who are all "It's shit because everyone listens to it! Listen to some real bands for once".
I don't care if you dislike a band but please don't use that line of arguing, it's just an awful argument.
The only concerts I ever went to was orchestra when I was little because my dad dragged me there
I still hate concerts to this day
I feel your pain.
Concerts are only good for raping your earing for the whole life

I agree. Music is basically organized sound. Mainstream or not it's still fucking music.
When I went to the SARS concert in Toronto, it was fucking horrid, Everyone pushing and shoving, 3 people died from dehydration.
Ended up sleeping under a overpass lol
Can anyone give advice on going to a concert you don't want to go to much? I've been invited to go and see Enter Shikari, and they're alright but I don't like them that much and I barely know any of their songs, so I don't really think it will be very good. Should I still go just for the experience or will it be £18 wasted?

Well if you don't really like the band that much then why go? Just say no.
Saw Pendulum at a small hall. I was standing in a small booth with about 5 other people overlooking the crowd. They were fucking nuts, massive mosh pits, beer being thrown, people falling and everyone clearing the area. If I was down there I would be crushed for sure, I'm a pussy.

Good job misunderstanding what I meant.
Name five incredibly talented and very good bands that you've seen on mtv and the radio, frequently.
Point made.

Sorry for misunderstanding your post baby.
Look I'll even take out your name and the word 'mtv' from the quote and then everything will be fine and my point will still be made and further misunderstandings such as this will hopefully occur at a lesser frequency.
I don't really watch MTV or listen to the radio much though so I find great difficulty in coming up with a suitable answer.
As much as I hate sounding like a dick on Facepunch, you sound like you're being a bit of a concert bore. Leave you stuff in a car or whatever, fuck the chairs and enjoy yourselves. That way you won't be constantly worrying about your stuff getting nicked and you can enjoy the show as well.
chevelle? you saw chevelle live? chevelle doesn't fit in with (most) of those other bands - they're "edgy" christian rock
they're not christian rock
I never even got close to claiming that I was more intelligent than you; or anyone else.
You are still continuing with the same troll plan. I can't stop it and no matter what I say it only feeds you.
I stop here.
why do you think I am trolling
because I don't agree with your point doesn't mean that I am trolling
learn the difference
Going to concerts outside sounds cool, but I couldn't imagine being there after it's wet/gnats everywhere.

Your name, avatar, and every other post you have made.
Your entire persona appears to be one large troll gig.
If that is not the case, I... well, if that is not the case, I am laughing.

well
you're wrong lol
You guys hardly make sense.
OP, you seriously need to stop being too oversensitive. You are not the only person in the world, so quit while you're ahead.
Snip
So she proceeds to walk around, the guys that are blazin' it up behind us look at me, begin to smile, and start cracking up, one high fives me, and the others push the drunk girl out of the way.
I love that part. High Guys are just funny :D
I've been to a couple of metalcore concerts and they've been mostly fine all the people/moshers there were helping everyone out.
There's always a couple of faggots at every concert, for example when I went to Parkway Drive earlier this year my friend got punched in the face for no reason by some fat guy and his friends, and the second the first fat dude threw a punch all his mates ganged up.
we won though v:v:v

It could also be that they might be playing with a band you don't know that end up being amazing.
Either way, it could be worse. I'm going to see Silverstein tomorrow with some friends. I'm just hoping the openers are decent. Only one I recognize is Ten Second Epic, which isn't getting my hopes up any.
Saw Modest Mouse at the Tabernacle in Atlanta.
God damn, most fun I've had. I love concerts, even if there ARE dickwads.
Best Concert is Big Day Out in Australia, Its free and has some fucking decent bands (Eskimo Joe, Hilltop Hoods, a few others)
they're not christian rock
they were originally
Reminds me of when I went to a concert. Sitting at the back watching the bands until the one I was interested came on. The band currently on stage decided it would be a good idea to order all the people currently in the mosh to run up to the back and 'teach these sitting down pussies how to mosh'. Let me tell you, getting trampled by a bunch of sweaty, drunk metalheads is not a fun experience.
first off; who goes to a concert during the DAY
and who the fuck sits down in a chair at a concert
it's not a fucking movie, it's an EXPERIENCE
they were originally
no they were just signed to a christian label
listen to their first album, it doesn't sound christian
Went to Sonisphere Earlier this year (In the UK.. loads of Metal/Rock Bands) and was all awesome up to Metallica where some half naked man kept rubbing up against me, I got a bottle of piss thrown at me in the face and some guy behind me was trying to set my hair alight :frown:.. still had a great time though...
they were originally
No, Chevelle was not a christian band originally.
The first record deal they got was by a christian label, they liked them, and since there was no cursing in the Wonder What's Next album, they got the deal.
Then after that, they dropped it once Squint and Epic noticed them.
If you were a struggling artist, you'd take a christian deal too to get higher up.
I feel your pain, man.
Also,
Coldplay is incredible live, they blew away my expectations when I went to see them this summer.
There were hardcore kids at the Opeth/High On Fire show I went to last year :saddowns: Doing what they do best: BEING IDIOTS.
