It's worse when people act like douchebags to the band performing: Alright let me tell ya this right fucking now. Whatever one of you tough guys is throwin' fuckin' money, come on up here cause I'm gonna stick your fuckin' dick up your fuckin' ass after I rip it off.
It's a well known fact that everyone who listens to music is a douchebag in one way or another.
awesome brah
Why is three days grace an 'ugh'? IMHO they are a very talented group.
They're good, yes. But they're terrible live, that's why I "ugh"-ed. The singer does nothing but curl up in a ball, and stand on an amp. The rest of the band just kinda stands there.
Sorry but when you bring CHAIRS to a crowded concert you are bound to get in trouble over the space and people walking through. You just don't do it. They break the crowd-flow. [editline]05:01PM[/editline]
What I hate about concerts: the retarded under 21 kids who start mosh pits for any genre of music. I went to a fucking Reel Big Fish concert and a Ratatat concert and people were moshing at both. It's not like it's punk rock or heavy metal for fucks sake. I go to concerts because I want to hear some fucking music. Not get pushed around by a bandwagon-jumping high school kid who thinks he's cool because he pushes around people he doesn't know at concerts. I can understand it a little if it's really intense music and you're getting into it but why the fuck would you mosh to ska or electronic music? Luckily at the Ratatat concert I got a spot on the balcony so I could see all the stupid fucks below me moshing for no reason (most likely not even paying attention to the music). That's right: I spent the whole concert just standing up listening to music while not being pushed around, stepped on, crushed, or bumped into, and I had a fucking amazing time.
Yea that's true. I especially hate it when people don't know the songs and start a circle or wall and then the song ends or they just fail in timing it or something. You get pushed around for some fail action. I don't mind making a circle or a good wall when the band and song allows it but not when Bloc Party or Arctic Monkeys are playing.
Sorry but when you bring CHAIRS to a crowded concert you are bound to get in trouble over the space and people walking through. You just don't do it.
i was thrown off by all of the "yeah and i'd like to thank the lord, jesus christ, oh and uh my friends and family too i guess" and all of the "i was mostly inspired by god" through out the booklet
that's their personal shit listen to some of their songs, they not christian
I absolutely fucking hate this argument with a passion. Just because it's overplayed doesn't make it shit, I can understand you being tired of hearing the same stuff over and over again but if it's popular then it's likely that the music is at least decent. I hate this trend of people who are all "It's shit because everyone listens to it! Listen to some real bands for once". I don't care if you dislike a band but please don't use that line of arguing, it's just an awful argument.
Overplayed shit means it's overplayed, and shit. Not shit because it's overplayed. I went to Leeds Fest this year and everyone there was really considerate. Also I've been to many concerts such as Rise Against, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Lamb of God, Flobots, Various Classical, Scorpions and you always get the occasional fags. The best way to do it is simply to crowd surf your way to the front. This doesn't piss many people off. At Rise Against as they were playing Give It All I was crowd surfing and being thrown 6 feet in the air. Also because of there political message people are really nice and considerate. At Lamb Of God they played Redkneck and people there were pretty dangerous. It all depends who you goto see although you always get atleast 1 douche bag. I went to a Hannah Montana concert with my cousin...it was a horrid experience. 1) It was fucking hot out 2) She was obviously lipsyncing 3) All of the girls were 10 years old and I even saw some that I swear were drunk (why the fuck do they sell alcohol at a Hannah Montana concert?!) 4) My cousin (a 21 year old, man) and I got sooo shitfaced that we threw up all over the family in front of us and got kicked out. In conclusion...it's been 5 months since then...and I still don't think I can go to that Venue anymore...
Which fucktard rents chairs at a concert? What are you, 80? If there is someone being a concert douche, it's you and your stupid chair...
When I was at SlipKnots concert, I broke two of my ribs and my sis broke her collarbone, because of a huge-ass moshpit
I was at this free concert at the twon hall two weeks ago. It was a pretty good Spanish indie band, and there was a huge crowd. Some drunk bitches were dancing in circles in front of me and one of them punched some guy in the face.
Which fucktard rents chairs at a concert? What are you, 80? If there is someone being a concert douche, it's you and your stupid chair...
not all concerts are meant to be moshfests
I went to a Nine Inch Nails concert over the summer; we got lawn seats. Worst decision of my life. It was fucking terrible. The people next to us were a bunch of redneck locals who treated the place like a bar. Fucking drunk as hell. Nobody around me even gave a fuck what was going on onstage. I should have spent a little extra for real seats. In conclusion: Don't ever get lawn seats if you can afford it. The lawn is essentially made for stupid fucks that need their beer and smokes. The best concert I ever went to was Flobots in Toronto. There was a tiny-ass venue, and we were 4 of the 25 total people there. It was fucking awesome.
not all concerts are meant to be moshfests
Well duh :downs:
