I don't know how your pc case is set up, but my drive bays are pretty far away from my gpu/cpu. Maybe its just my pc, but it is barely higher than room temps, unless I am gaming for hours on end. In which case I'd probably have been using the bud anyways and it wouldn't be in my computer.
That being said, my nugs are just stashed in my bedside nightstand, I don't have to worry about snoops.
And it does take quite high temperatures to degrade THC, thus if your computer case is really reaching those temperatures, it probably would already have shit out already

I.E, the amount of THC lost (actually just degraded to a cannibinoids, CBD CBN and the like are formed from THC being degraded.) was only 0.4% of the total at 120C.
