Is that guy in the ninth image Hitler?
Looks more like cyber/dieselpunk or something to me. I don't see anything victorian in this.
How the hell did german fail against russia with those?
what the fuck?

Steampunk has become an umbrella term for anything relating to mechanically controlled high technology in historical, or generally earlier-than-modern settings. It's called Steampunk because it has a more victorian style which coincides with steam, not necessarily that it operates on actual steam.
The concept art is awesome.
Looks fantastic.
Nice. Glad to see that there will be cool WWII movies on battles/events that people (outside the country being depicted) never hear of.
I'm in love with this movie already.
I take it there's no actual footage as of yet and that it's still in it's earliest phase?
Damn, I can't wait already.
This and Iron Sky goddamn.
So watching this, I just wonder if it'll stay true to the facts.

Supposedly will. Like I said, it's supposed to be as historically accurate as possible and they're working with a museum to make it so. Well, as historically accurate as a robot-WWII can be.

Cool, i might see it in the cinema next time i visit poland.
The concept art looks awesome. I hope this turns out well.
Hope it's as good as the concept art.
Looks a lot like webcomic Gone with the Blastwave.
If you've seen it you'll know what I mean.

I spy Karl Kroenen!
Edit:
Also there should be a World Release with Subs.
This somehow reminds me of Killzone.
Steampunk? I'd say it falls into the realm of dieselpunk due to its time era and technology. It's still good either way.
I think this thread should deserve more attention.
looks amazing
I'm gonna be honest, most of the concept art looks stupid.

Perhaps the genre isn't your style?

You don't like it therefore it's stupid? Why even come in this thread just to say you don't like the art?
Perhaps the genre isn't your style?
I wouldn't say it's the genre; I like the idea of steampunk.
Mostly, I'm referring to the first picture and the big hulking Nazi killing machines.
1. The first picture is impossible. It needs a third leg, or relatively flat feet, at least.
2. They're not realistic in any sense. I know Steampunk is a fantasy genre, but that doesn't mean it has to be unbelievable.
3. The Nazis did not view themselves as sadistic murderers. They would not decorate their war machines as such. None of the machines in the artwork are Nazi-esque; they're just random mech-like creations with swastikas painted on.
Really, it all looks more cyberpunk than steampunk.
Best looking Nazi movie ever.

Yeah I was going to say that, its clearly more mechanized and 'German' than Steampunk. Anyway I have always wanted a WW2 film based like this though my idea was that the Germans would be based on Diesel punk, while other nations like say - Britain were based off Steam Punk.

A book called Leviathan by Scott Westerfield did something like this, but instead it was set in WWI. The Germans and Austrians had the steam mecha while the British used genetically modified creatures.

Not like their hats didn't have skulls and crossed bones on them or anything.
