I still come back here on occasion, but to be honest I'm just not feeling it anymore.
This place was my hub for general and gaming news and chat. But now I just find there are many better places to go, such as Reddit. I mean, I love you guys, but I think this place really is dying out.
Besides, who played Gmod anymore?
I don't have any money to join SA :(
Obviously FP will lose popularity because GMOD is getting less popular, but it's not happening now.

We just have to shift focus from being a GMod forum to being a general video games forum, which is more or less already happening.
I don't think Facepunch will ever really "die out", there might be times with less members, but Facepunch covers so much (video games, news, random shit, various hobbies, etc.) that new people will always join.
I've been on Facepunch for a while and I can say that it's not quite dying yet. Like others said Gmod is no longer that central to the forums not just because it's less popular now but because people here talk about other things. It's more a forum for general gaming and discussion of other topics. There may come a time when only a handful of us remain but I don't see that happening soon.
