I hate the sound of my dad sneezing. Gives me awful goosebumps
I must agree with you OP. I cannot either stand the sound or feel of unpolished wood, it feels so unconfortable.
I cannot eat popsicles due to the stick. I always end up biting the stick and that alone ruins the entire taste. I feel your pain (somewhat) OP.
This is the first time I hear someone has such a problem with paper.
The sound of someone turning plastic-coated pages in a picture book with their thumb and index finger creates a horrific noise.
I cringe when I think about rubbing a napkin against my front teeth. I broke them when I was younger, so that may be why.
I only hate paper when my hands are wet. I dunno why, but the feel of it after that is just not ok.
wet paper is horrible, I hate when it rains when I'm delivering mail, not because I get wet, but the [I]paper[/I] gets wet.
I always lie down while touching my Paper. [sp]say hello to my willie, nicknamed as Paper[/sp]
Sound of Velcro for me is the worst
Touching coarse cloth is a very 'blach' thing for me. Fuck coarse cloth.
I can't stand when stuff is barely touching my skin. It makes my skin crawl.
I can't stand when my hand is wet and my thumb and index finger rub on each other. I get genuinely mad and cringe super hard just the thought right now makes me cringe
We are kindred spirits. I bought a Kindle cause I love reading but hate the way the paper feels.
I hate when someone touches spoons with their teeth.
Paper is fine with me as long as I'm careful with it, I never noticed it before now but cardboard boxes tend to put me on edge, and wood popsicle sticks are fucking unbearable. "Unfinished" paint on walls makes me rage too.
it makes me cringe when i see a needle go into someone's arm or seeing a doctor on tv doing surgery.
I hate touching the shiny photo paper like paper I cant stand the way it feels. And getting your nails on it is even worse. Not sure what it's called but it has extremely high friction.
I remember a particular type of carpet some of the classrooms at my elementary school made me almost immediately start thinking about what it would feel like if I took a bite of it after I had stepped over it. It would make my mouth go dry and my teeth sting. My brain fucking hated that kind of carpet, whatever it was.
I'm the exact same way, except to a lesser extent. I also can't bite into cold or very hot things with my front teeth.
I'm fine with everything mentioned. What makes me want to die though, is licking fabric. Any kind if fabric. With my tongue.
I hate paper cause it always cuts me :(
Huh, I'm the opposite, I love the feeling of a fresh piece of paper. Especially thick paper you use for watercolors. And the smell of it. mmm, acid-free..
clean, blank, white paper is nice to look at.
i go all crigney and horrible when i touch photo-paper
the way my hands feel after touching sand/ any kind of powdery/dry substance. I cant stand it for than a few seconds before i start wanting to scream.
Packing Styrofoam makes me cringe, it started off as the sound made me cringe but at some point I had a thought of how it would be to take a bite out of it, and damn that cringes the hell out of me.
Scraping fingernails down sheets of paper is what does it for me. [editline]23rd December 2014[/editline] but tbh none of you have felt cringe until you go to the dentist and they put the anaesthetic needle into your gum and stick it right the way down into your jawbone and you can feel every movement
Odd. A lot of this stuff I have no reaction to. For instance, I love styrofoam, nylon fabric, and photo-paper ( or anything glossy, except for the fingerprints. Gross). It's not so much cringe for me, but just "OH JESUS FUCKING CHRIST THAT HURTS". [editline]24th December 2014[/editline] The best part is, that I'm resistant to anesthetics, so I need even more shots! Hahaha. Haha. Ha. it sucks
I HATE holo paper. The stuff that you use to flip it at certain angles and the picture changes. My old middle school had mandatory school journals with holo paper as the title cover material. Worst case scenario was that people would scratch it and make me cringe and I'd be covered in goosebumps. There were times that I had to tell the teachers that scratching the paper bothered me, and told the class to put the journals away. One kid in a class REVELED in my pain to holo paper. I hated him back then as I still do a bit now knowing that he fully knew that messing with that paper made me uncomfortable and exploited it.
