i cba'd to check the international one
1 zooms into a Apartment complex :v:
The second one zooms into the LA-PD in Cali.
I'm clearly upset, right bro? yeah, I forgot you know what I'm like over an internet post
Swearing 3 times in your post and using heavy sarcasm. Totally serene. Also you sound like some pissed of high school chick whose defending herself from rumors over facebook.
lol if we do that it would be illegal gathering of evidence
the murderer would get off easy
[editline]24th May 2011[/editline]
i might be able to if the numbers are mobile
but again its not legal to do and wont hold up in a trial
Yeah if you did it you would get in even more shit than you already are. (Referring to your other thread)
Neither of these are good. That "Apartment" complex seems like a warehouse.
I feel like a TV show detective now.

Ive done my work. Im afraid to continue. I dont know if this can land me in trouble.
All i will say is: Both numbers ARE good. And are mobile phones.

As it just so happens I'm taking a class on criminal procedure this quarter.
And no. Private citizens can do anything they want in terms of gathering evidence and turning it over to the police. If they commit a crime in doing so they are subject to prosecution, but the evidence they gathered is admissible in court nonetheless.
Remember the exclusionary rule applies exclusively to government agencies. The one caveat is as follows: If an LE agent specifically asks a person to look for evidence where he can't that person is at that time deputized and any evidence he/she collects can be excluded.

Shouldn't you be in O-Town?
You think too highly of the internet. What's to say that someone here won't try to contact the killer, and warn him. Or perhaps you're stalking an ex girlfriend, and I'm the one who thinks wishfully.

That place is overrated with turtles and frog things.
I now live in the middle of the ocean where my sharks guard me.
The numbers are all fake. The real killer is located somewhere in Ukraine and goes only by the name "the Snake". Good luck.
I always knew that Jake Roberts was up to something.
Call them and act like you're a old friend from high school or something. :D

in this case it wouldnt hold up since we are essentially acting on behalf of the op's father who is a detective
this should have been phrased as a question but im too lazy to redo it

humanabyss doesnt give a fuck he will swear as much as he goddamn wants cuz hes a boss
I called the numbers and warned the murderer, he's going to be very careful from now on. Good luck, Sherlock.
I called him and asked him for super fun time and told him where to go to meet up. He seems like a nice guy

This is legal, and any evidence we can get will help to prosecute the murderer.

then why doesnt your dad get off his ass and do it himself?
Called these guys and told them to go into hiding and dispose of their phone numbers and other evidence.
It's honestly sad the first thing you think of when you read this thread is how you think I or JDK would give a god damn about the use of the word lock up. fuck sakes.

those books were the shit
because of those books i tried to open my own detective agency
my only customer was my dad, he wanted me to find the tv remote
then after i found it and wanted my money he said to put it on his tab :frown:
Tell him to use his Intuition points.
I would give it a shot if it weren't for the fact that anything I find wouldn't stand up in court
This is legal, and any evidence we can get will help to prosecute the murderer.
It's not legal, you're a civilian which is interfering with an investigation.
Have fun ruining your fathers career, you little detective.

Helping out is legal, but the use of any evidence obtained through Facepunch's methods wouldn't be useful in a US court, where there is strict adherence to the rules of evidence.

lol
Weird, didn't know getting your son to help you on a homicide case was allowed in the US.
The more you know
