I'll openly come out and admit that I'm proud to be a middle-class white American because I've got it pretty damn good. While I can see why we aren't the infallible superhero of world affairs, it's not like you can label everyone who's proud to be a citizen of their country an idiot just because that country's fucked up in the past. I'm openly embarrassed about how some of our service members conduct themselves. Everyone seems to be trying to make things black and white, though.
