I lol'd. You've been arguing all this time about how wrong it is to kill people then you say that morality doesn't exist. Morality certainly does exist; it's just subjective.
you dumb, down-syndrome ridden piece of shit.
I'm Wangman Sebben, and I aproove of this message.
Am I spelling aproove right? I know, herp derp.
Morality doesn't exist. It's created by humans. Same thing as knowledge, it's all subjective.

Knowledge isn't subjective. It's the revealing of objective information. Granted, this has to be done by means distorted by perception, but if it differs from reality by any meaningful degree, it's not knowledge.
If you said that nothing can be truly known, however, I'd leave you be.
He was just saying how morals are invalid because people created them. Now he says he still believes in them.
Not a contradiction because he didn't say morals are invalid. He said people created them. They are not objective, but he still has morals anyway.
Morality certainly does exist; it's just subjective.
Pretty sure I said that.
If you said that nothing can be truly known, however, I'd leave you be.
That's what I was trying to say. Thank you.
alde was in here talking to people he doesn't know about how he hates america for 7 hours, in other news he might be a virgin
I've been on and off of the computer the whole day. I've never sat down in front of the computer for 7 hours.

Speaks the truth.
He's saying that logic is not always right, which makes absolutely no sense.
I think he means it depends who is speaking the logic/Whos logic it is?
That's not at all what I believe. I am a moral nihilist.
I acknowledge that morality is falsely invented, but I believe in it. I'm human.
Moral nihilism is the belief that there is no moral or immoral, you sound like more of a moral relativist to me than a moral nihilist.
Pretty sure I said that.
You did, but you also said that morality DOESN'T exist. Which is completely false.
Morality doesn't exist. It's created by humans. Same thing as knowledge, it's all subjective.
I think he means it depends who is speaking the logic/Whos logic it is?
Logic doesn't depend on who speaks it. It's all the same and self-consistent if it's done correctly.
Logic doesn't depend on who speaks it. It's all the same and self-consistent if it's done correctly.
I'm not touching this post with a 40 foot pole.
I'm not touching this post with a 40 foot pole.
That's good. There's nothing wrong with it.
It's good to know you're not an okay-post-pole-botherophile
You did, but you also said that morality DOESN'T exist. Which is completely false.
Maybe I should have said it isn't an absolute? I don't exactly have a vast vocabulary.
Moral nihilism is the belief that there is no moral or immoral, you sound like more of a moral relativist to me than a moral nihilist.
That's what I should have said, thanks. But I think I'm inbetween.
Maybe I should have said it isn't an absolute? I don't exactly have a vast vocabulary.
That's not moral nihilism, that's moral relativism. Now I understand you.
Logic doesn't depend on who speaks it. It's all the same and self-consistent if it's done correctly.
But logic is judgement, right? A system of reasoning so to say.
This shit's gone from "I'm joining the army" to trippy and philosophical.
I take some credit with the whole logic argument
That's good. There's nothing wrong with it.
It's good to know you're not an okay-post-pole-botherophile
That's not why I'm staying away from it.
I don't exactly have a vast vocabulary.
Well, we already knew that.
:smug:
That's not moral nihilism, that's moral relativism. Now I understand you.
Not really, because a moral relativist believes that the morals laid down my society are correct, whereas a moral nihilist understands that no moral system has any greater objective value than any other.
This shit's gone from "I'm joining the army" to trippy and philosophical.

I get the other half.

As Strider_07 said Nihilism is complete denial of all established authority and institutions, the philosophical position that values do not exist but rather are falsely invented.
I assume you knew that however.
You have no original content.
And you're clearly a troll.
As Strider_07 said Nihilism is complete denial of all established authority and institutions, the philosophical position that values do not exist but rather are falsely invented.
I do believe that are falsely invented but I still feel inclined to follow moral code.
I hate ayn rand.
She has some good points about agnosticism and such.

What have you done.
Not really, because a moral relativist believes that the morals laid down my society are correct, whereas a moral nihilist understands that no moral system has any greater objective value than any other.
Nihilism implies that you don't believe in them at all, he said he has morals, just that morals aren't universal. At least that's what I gathered.
Permaban OP I think he's lying.
Nihilism implies that you don't believe in them at all, he said he has morals, just that morals aren't universal. At least that's what I gathered.
Not really. Nihilism means that you understand they don't have any objective value. Doesn't mean you can't have morals anyway.
She has some good points about agnosticism and such.
I don't personally hate Ayn Rand, that was more for the comedic value than anything.
