Can I buy this in Canada?
yes
Rock River Arms do not follow mil-spec so they are cheaper and still reliable. Catch is, that not all AR parts or accessories will work on a RRA AR. The guns they make are really good though. I consider DPMS an entry level AR manufacturer.

RRA might have the same fate. Still toying with the idea of getting a kit. Only problem is I don't know what I'd be doing but I suppose that's what the internet is for.
Best thing about having a smart phone is you can see something you like at a show, and check big online retailers for a comparable price right then and there.
Camping question time: Is it legal in the state of Arizona to bring a rifle with you when you go camping? If so, does that include National Parks?
Best thing about having a smart phone is you can see something you like at a show, and check big online retailers for a comparable price right then and there.
That's true. I guess I'll have to wait and see what this weekend holds.
Camping question time: Is it legal in the state of Arizona to bring a rifle with you when you go camping?
Camping question time: Is it legal in the state of Arizona to bring a rifle with you when you go camping? If so, does that include National Parks?
yes but doesn't include national parks here, probably the same in arizona
A stripped lower would have to be shipped to an FFL correct?
I don't think a stripped one does
A stripped lower would have to be shipped to an FFL correct?
The lower is the part that is legally considered the firearm, so yes, it would need to be shipped to an FFL. Everything else, including uppers, are fine.
I don't think a stripped one does
Its the part of the weapon that has the serial number so yea it has to be shipped through an FFL [editline]17th April 2012[/editline] ninja'd
What the fuck.
fit for a spess marin
7 out of 8 aint bad for my first batch of reloads...
That's pretty bad, I've never had any problems with my handloads
May I ask why you want one? I understand it is pretty cool to own, but I can assure you it adds a lot of weight and makes it much easier to expend ammo much faster than you would ever want or need to... (Then again it would look sweet at the range).
I never said I wanted one. But if I did, it would be for collection sake and 'shoot-moar-boolets-gooder-quickly' situation.
fit for a spess marin
I'm sure a spess marin would prefer something beefier than .45 ACP.
That's pretty bad, I've never had any problems with my handloads
You mean... my handloads.
What the fuck.
That thing is god damn ugly. [editline]18th April 2012[/editline]
Had I decided to fire it, I'd give an 8 or 9 out of 10 that the case ruptured. Not sure if it would blow up the gun or how bad. Maybe cracked barrel and upper receiver?
Why did you keep jamming the bolt into it? :v: Isn't there a risk that repeatedly jamming a bolt onto a cartridge can set off the primer?
You mean... my handloads.
You're not the only one that handloads
Camping question time: Is it legal in the state of Arizona to bring a rifle with you when you go camping? If so, does that include National Parks?
The credit card reform act that Obama signed in 2009 included a cause that allows carry into National Parks, so you are okay there.
>Credit Card Reform >Modified carry laws What?
Why did you keep jamming the bolt into it? :v: Isn't there a risk that repeatedly jamming a bolt onto a cartridge can set off the primer?
Because I was an idiot and didn't check the chamber. The primer wasn't at risk of going off because the rear of the cartridge and the primer were both still in the magazine. Worst case scenario is I tore open the case. But since brass doesn't spark, there wouldn't be a risk of it going off.
What the hell kind of bolt are you using that can tear open brass? Damn.
I heard that diamonds can tear open everything, why isn't the military using diamond tipped bullets? (User was permabanned for this post ("Either dumb or trolling - Blew last chance" - Craptasket))
Gee I don't know maybe because diamonds are fucking expensive? Also they're still relatively brittle doesn't matter how 'hard' a diamond is if it hits, say, tank armour at the speed of a bullet it's going to shatter, not cut into the tank.
I heard that diamonds can tear open everything, why isn't the military using diamond tipped bullets?
Unbanned already? A shame
Eh, just put him on the ignore list. Although, I wish said list hid posts in a smaller and less obnoxious manner. THIS PERSON YOU DISLIKE HAS POSTED SOMETHING. CLICK HERE TO VIEW WHAT DUMB SHIT HE SAID.
I never said I wanted one. But if I did, it would be for collection sake and 'shoot-moar-boolets-gooder-quickly' situation.
Ah, I agree with these reasons. As to whatever conversation we are having about the .45ACP we need to remember everything is better with Corbons... nothing like a 4 ft blue flame out the mouth.
What the hell kind of bolt are you using that can tear open brass? Damn.
Steel is typically stronger than brass.
New gun purchase: Czech DB Shotgun from the early 1900s or Type 38 Arisaka that's so messy you could mud wrestle in it
What do you guys think about flinching? I've heard some people say if you start out shooting a big caliber you'll develop a flinch. But I learned how to shoot on a M91/30 and I don't flinch, except when other people are shooting and I'm watching. My brother on the other hand, started out on a 10/22 and has a horrible flinch. I think it depends on the person rather than developing a flinch.
