that is the cutest firearm i've ever seen. how's the kick?
depends on the receiver, tabbies have almost no recoil but those damn toms feel like a 10 gauge
What a beautiful stock. I really love that tiger-stripe camo too.
I can understand why you would want to be a police officer, but why in God's green earth would you want to be a corrections officer?
Because being in corrections at the time was one of my only options and I'm 100% glad i got to do it. It opens your eyes in to another world, you learn some real people skills, on top of that it puts that thought in the back of your mind when on the streets, "is it worth arresting this individual and exposing them to x,y, and b, environment." Plus you learn a lot faster in corrections seeing as it is so high-speed. You learn a lot of cool things. It is hard to explain, you can't watch stupid shows like lockdown and stuff like that, you would have to be one yourself. It is a completely different world, how the "real" world functions and prison life functions are two different things. Don't bother trying to cross the two or try to bring rules from one to the other because it will only get you killed. It was like the ultimate game of cat and mouse, except when you lose you die. As for the cop thing, when I was in corrections I was endorsed by a department/office and opened up a lot of shit for me. I had the opportunity to go take swat training, but I couldn't get my requested leave time accepted to go to it. So i lost out. It would have been a pretty intense course.
Now what if he actually does like that, Commie? Now you've made him feel bad. Way to go
Only had to strip search someone once. Never again....
how do you even get to do that sort of stuff :(
Contrary to popular belief the police and their departments are very open and welcome people who wish to learn and be open minded. All i can suggest to you, depends entirely on your state/country, etc try and find a citizens academy, ride-a-longs, or any other program that allows you to work with police.
Unless you don't plan on watching the video don't click the spoiler tags until you have [sp]The whole time I'm watching this I'm thinking "This is a bad idea this is a terrible idea oh god this is such a bad idea" and then nothing. I was very disappointed and surprised that the handgun rounds did nothing except for one of them popped. But I think the casing ruptured because I don't think a bullet went anywhere.[/sp]
I'm mostly just surprised that the shell was intact after going off outside of a chamber, I always figured the chamber kept it from exploding outward
It's not even worth arguing. He tossed me a deactivated grenade after pulling the pin and the spoon flipped off.
I've actually done that to a few people, it's hilarious.
Those are shell markings?
Big deal the rest of it is plastic. Its also called manufacturing costs, so dont go calling Remington a bunch of tards.
Oh no! A plastic shotgun shell that performs exactly the same as a normal one! What shall we do!
It's prussel, he wants everything out of wood and stamped metal.
I was very disappointed and surprised that the handgun rounds did nothing except for one of them popped. But I think the casing ruptured because I don't think a bullet went anywhere.
Yeah bullets tend to do that when you don't have a chamber for them.
I think its not all plasic rather a thin coating over what would be a shallow cut out. You could said, 'oh I had relaoding in mind with that plastic part I might not be able to', then no one would crack the shits at you. heck take a knife to the plastic bit and see if its all plastic. Maybe spend a little more money and buy all brass shells. for fucks sake
Have you checked that its all plastic?
I have a few of those, in no.7 not slugs but buckshot. They are pretty damn good. I can't see a difference in price either, just a tenner for a box.
reve prussel arone also, gun show today :D
It's prussel, he wants everything out of wood and stamped metal.
Hmmmm, shotgun shells made of steel and wood? FUND THIS.
It's more expensive to add the plastic ring and the small metal cap the primer sits in rather than make the whole thing out of brass. I sure as hell wouldn't design the part of a cartridge that takes the most pressure to have a plastic area.
Brass is mostly copper, copper is really expensive. So no
Hmmmm, shotgun shells made of steel and wood? FUND THIS.
Someone start a kickstarter for it. [editline]21st April 2012[/editline] NOW.
What the fuck is this shit? Looks good Garb. Have you already taken it apart and cleaned the cosmoline out of it?
Just got back from shooting my new Mosin for the first time. The kick isn't too bad, but it's a fucking cannon. It digs holes two inches deep and can break through quarter-inch cold ruled steel plate. I pity the men who were on the receiving end of this. Think I should get a new stock? Also, what kind of cleaning kit would work well with it? Like a dumbass I forgot to clean out the cosmoline, and it jammed a few times. However, nothing determination and a big mallet can't fix.
i envy your m44
i envy your m44
i am one slick motherfucker
My little bro stripped the varnish of his M44 and the oiled the wood. Looked pretty neat
My little bro stripped the varnish of his M44 and the oiled the wood. Looked pretty neat
It's okay though because that was not the original stock. It was the coldwar one they put on it in the 1950's.

What is this sorcery?
M44's come with those.
