More guns less bullshit: The rifle is a Sauer 90, a rare rifle and one of the last to be stamped with "Made In West Germany" they stopped making the 90 in 2008. I don't use it often and to be honest the old man uses it more than I do, he does a lot of Stalking and I'd say that rifle has felled more deer than I can remember.
I love that rifle, and I love that shotgun, but sweet shit would I be tempted to saw the barrel of that thing down to the length of the tube magazine. I don't know why, and I know it's retarded, but I can't stand it when the length of the barrel of a shotgun is greater than that of the tube magazine Maybe it's because I like the trench gun so much. v:v:v [editline]25th April 2012[/editline] Oh shit why the hell didn't I see the furniture AK, that's lovely. Same with that revolver.
lol no any decent firearm will feed properly with any type of standard ammo a fucking .22lr shouldn't be picky
Not all 22 ammo is equal :v: The Sig Mosquito might be one of those guns that likes nothing but the hot 22 ammo (Aguila Super, CCI Stinger /Velociter/Mini-mag etc). Also handled on of those Beretta Neo's I...I liked it.
dont mind me, just being the best gun EVER REP DAT AK
Iconic? Yes. But I personally prefer more modern firearms over most Kalashnikovs.
AK-101 and newer 4 lyfe
Early AKs are ugly as hell.
how dare you
Early AKs are ugly as hell.
Fucks nuggets but dislikes original AK47s. Wat.
Early AKs are ugly as hell.
What exactly is a "good looking AK"? AK's aren't exactly known for being pretty. That being said, I think it looks nice.
lol no any decent firearm will feed properly with any type of standard ammo a fucking .22lr shouldn't be picky
Yeah, I'll be honest .22lr's are generally the most finicky of the calibers. Often because it has the lowest of quality control. I mean, hell, what other round is bought and used while the round can be "shaken" in the casing? Exactly.
Yeah, I'll be honest .22lr's are generally the most finicky of the calibers. Often because it has the lowest of quality control. I mean, hell, what other round is bought and used while the round can be "shaken" in the casing? Exactly.
Jesus, is that why the rounds are loose on so many of these rounds I bought? Also funny (retarded) story, but my dad bought a ".22 rifle" and then told me to go buy ammunition for it without letting me inspect it, so naturally I assumed it was .22LR. I come back with one of those gimmicky "333 rounds!" plinker boxes and it winds up that the rifle is chambered in .22 WMR. >:I Dad. What are you doing, that's like $150 if I want to buy a couple hundred rounds instead of $15 for 333.
Yeah, I'll be honest .22lr's are generally the most finicky of the calibers. Often because it has the lowest of quality control. Exactly.
I've gotten bulk creates and rounds just not feed at all or they get stuck in the chamber or you have to feed it through like 5 times to get it to fire Of course I've gotten cheap shit and go the whole brick with one or two jams and no misfires
I've had good luck with Remington .22LR but I agree about CCI, that shit, your can run a whole brick with zero problems almost every time
if you buy some cheap remington then you get what you pay for pay five bucks more a box for cci standard and you won't have problems
This is generally true. The CCI clear box stuff in general is pricey for plinking, but is the best for everything else. Also this video is pretty good for this subject: The Aguila IMO was the most surprising out of all.
Words cannot describe how much I envy and hate people that can just 'pick up' a gun on a whim. "Oh I saw it and I just had to have it so I bought it tee hee" It's like you're talking about some shoes or something. I mean no offence but wtf how the hell can you afford to just randomly buy a gun as you're out and about.
Why would you hate and envy someone who can afford nice things? It's called find a nice job, work your way up to get a better wage. Be smart about finances, save up every pay check. I save a certain amount from my paycheck every month so later on i can pick up whatever I want. It isn't like a buy a gun every week, maybe ever 6 months I'll find or get a new gun. CCI is what is tested in the sigs and that is what they suggest. Not a big deal imo.
.22wmr and .17hmr cannot be compared to .22lr sorry [editline]25th April 2012[/editline]
DAT BAKELITE
Bakelite doesn't have to look like shit.
new title :D
I like Download's title.
amcfaggot's title gave me the terrors.
sigs like to not feed properly. I can run anything through my glock and it'll work, not so much with a sig [editline]25th April 2012[/editline] Feels good to be moderate right
Even a .50BMG? [editline]26th April 2012[/editline]
AK-101 and newer 4 lyfe
AK-12 is pretty sweet. [editline]26th April 2012[/editline] I'm really hoping to be able to go to the range soon, I'm unable to get a rifle that I can own (due to gun laws) so I'll have to use one of the club guns. I've never gone before, I'm hoping it'll be fun.
My opinion is that the AK-47 is pretty ugly, but things got much better with the AKM.
My opinion is that the AK-47 is pretty ugly, but things got much better with the AKM.
Ak's are good. But if we are gonna talk about cold war guns then we need to remember the gun that was called "the right arm of the free world". The glorious FAL: [thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/61/Kuwaiti_soldier_with_his_FN_FAL_rifle.jpg[/thumb]
FAL best gun of the year all years.
I've had good luck with Remington .22LR but I agree about CCI, that shit, your can run a whole brick with zero problems almost every time
In my experience Remington is fine for plinking, its just REALLY dirty so you have to clean your gun out after 2-300 of them to avoid issues (though you should be cleaning after that many with any ammo really)

CCI is really clean, I fired 150 rounds out of my 10/22 and there were no issues at all (except one dud) and the rifle was extremely easy to clean. A basic wipe down for the CCI as opposed to scrubbing off carbon deposits from the remmy gold.
Ugh, I hate it when people think SPAS-12 has two models; one being semi-auto and one being pump. It has a fire selector jesus christ
Ugh, I hate it when people think SPAS-12 has two models; one being semi-auto and one being pump. It has a fire selector jesus christ
Isn't the pump for less-than-lethal rounds that do not have enough energy to reload the gun by themselves?
And people forget the most useful tool about a pump action shotgun, its sound. Hear someone break into your home? Get within audible distance from them and pump that mofo, hear them run going "shitshitSHIT".
Isn't the pump for less-than-lethal rounds that do not have enough energy to reload the gun by themselves?

yeah, and also other loads that normally wouldn't cycle
Its very rare to see a movie SPAS-12 fire on semi automatic because of that. That's why most games have it as a pump only gun. And as we know, this means people will go by videogames for gun info. The only movie I can think of that did this was one of the later Halloween sequels when some sheriff blasted his (Michael Myers) ass nearly apart. Just checked, yep Halloween 4.
And as we know, this means people will go by videogames for gun info.
I take offense from this, video games taught me bottom-line basics but also INSPIRED ME to go do research on my own.
