How much are you willing to spend?
about 500-600
about 500-600
The world is your oyster. You can get a used Glock for less than that. You can buy an 870 for half that.
Does anyone one here remember a guy who bought a 1911 and it turned out the gun was chambered in .30 Mauser?
What how
I kinda want a 1911 chambered in 7.62x25, the only problem being I then need a 1911, and not-Chinese ones cost too much.
Don't think the 1911 would be a good platform for a such hot round as 7,62x25
Yeah... I mean it might work if you designed one with the intent of firing the round from the start.
old video of me testing out the bayonet on my old beater M44. no worries, I have a far better M44 I don't treat so roughly. :D
Semi auto M1A National Match I picked up just after Xmas for about $800. Normally retails for almost twice that. It was a deal I couldn't pass up, I had to sell an AR to fund it :P
Thanks for the info, I've always wanted a M1/M14 style rifle.
Bunch of people around here keep looking for conversion kits for 1911s to 7.62x25, and apparently they're around in the states. People want it because of the availability of cheap surplus, apparently there's a fair demand in Canada at least for conversion kits.

http://www.basspro.com/Remington-870-Express-Synthetic-12-Gauge-w/18-Barrel-Shotgun/product/10218080/97996 Thinking about picking up one of these and putting a pistol grip on it. What do you guys think?
Nothing wrong with a good ole 870, but isn't that a steep price for one?
Nothing wrong with a good ole 870, but isn't that a steep price for one?
The 28" barrel model with 4+1 capacity was only $320, but I prefer the shorter barrel and longer mag tube.

That's a bit overpriced for an 870. I picked up mine for $325 from a dealer at a gun show.
That was painful to watch... especially when he had the wood of the gun inside the broken monitor where it would have gotten scratched to all hell.
got that m44 for free. terrible bore, laminate was all fucked to hell to begin with, so I don't mind treating it like a piece of shit. My other m44 though, I'd never do that to it because it's a beauty. I might make a mosin throwing video. Set up watermelons on different height poles at different distances and try to hit them via throwing the mosin, bayonet extended, like a javelin.
about 500-600
Brand spankin new Glock 19 for $500 http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F1GLK19NGEN3&name=New+Glock+19+9mm+Handgun+Gen+3&groupid=3

Even Garands don't compare. (P.S. I'm just joking Prussel)
Mosins are pretty sexy though
Mosins are pretty sexy though
M38s are, I just can't get down with a 91/30. Too long for me. Or even an M44. I don't like the bayonet attached. But then again I've always had the option of being picky.
Buying online isn't an option for me, so if my local gun shop doesn't have the 870 for cheaper, then I'll have no choice but to buy from Bass Pro. http://www.basspro.com/Remington-870-Express-Synthetic-12-Gauge-w/18-Barrel-Shotgun/product/10218080/97996 http://www.amazon.com/BLACKHAWK-SpecOps-Black-Shotgun-Forend/dp/B0016AZ18E/ref=sr_1_5?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1336087907&sr=1-5 This is what I'm looking at so far for a shotgun setup. Mostly be used for range fun and clay shooting.
MY GUN OF TWO ARSHIN IS MEASUREMENT STICK. YOUR GUN OF STUPID LENGTH IS NO RULER. PRACTICE WITH MANY THROW OF BAYONET/GUN JAVELIN AND COME TALK AGAIN ABOUT TWO ARSHIN SUPERIORITY.

Plus the length of the 91/30 with the bayonet attached makes sure I can reach out and touch someone. In their heart. [sp]I mean stab them[/sp]
You could stab a german from 3 miles away with a 91/30 with a bayonet.

If you can find a Mossberg Maverick 88 I'd suggest that. Interchangeable parts with a Mossberg 500 so you can have a 18.5" security barrel and 28" field barrel. I almost sold my Maverick 88 before I took it clay shooting and bought the 18.5" barrel. I love it now.
Any good .22LR pistols for cheap? Or should I just get a Marlin 795?
Rohm RG10 double-action revolver. The pinnacle of German engineered perfection, a gun world renowned for it's reliability and flawless craftsmanship, it has been considered one of the very best revolvers ever made, rivaling that of any Colt or S&W produced firearms.
Something tells me a pinnacle of German engineering doesn't come cheap. Ruger has some target pistols in .22 that are pretty cheap, like $150 cheap, but IMO they look bad. Walther's P22 is about $400 if you want something a bit better looking.
Rugers are sexy if you ask me
