A guy from the SomethingAwful forums by the name of Caro actually went and did that. Fought in Libya and shit.
Hard fucking core. Gotta remember that's a possibility next time I'm feeling down.
They're not that expensive no, but ČZ is so incredibly much better.
And I AGREE! Did you think into 'Why' your friend might be attracted towards the M77? I mean think about it, 16 inch barrel, modest in its weight and ammo capacity and it fires fuggin 308. It's going to gobble any deer that's in its crosshairs with that much more ompth than the 7.62x39 round. From what I've read I think it's clearly scratching an itch your friend must have. I try to see the motivations of WHY and I see picking a good rifle with those specs IS NOT A BAD THING. Oh and I went looking for the closest thing in comparison from CZ, I've no doubt that this CZ rifle is a bazillion times better than the M77 in every arena but ze price http://www.cz-usa.com/products/view/550-UCS/ And don't you dare try to accuse me of saying 'therefore Ruger is better than CZ' that is stupid and you would have missed my point.
Hey, everyone. Remember when this was about firearms and various boomsticks? Flaming ain't nice, but depression isn't funny either. So please stop dramas, let's all hug and snort some Hoppe's and get back to discuss contraptions that propel slugs of metal towards things.

Sorry Prusselusken, I'm a little pissy today. Must be that time of the month again.
He already has a .308 rifle (Tikka T3 Super Varmint(which means he might not get an application for a new rifle in the same calibre approved)) and he wants something in 7,62x39. Personally I prefer the looks of the ČZ. Simple but efficient, whereas the Scout looks pretty tacticool with that flash hider, high rail and the ugly mag. From what I've heard the Scout mag is both expensive and of poor quality.
Well knowing those details does explain things a little better. Going for the CZ in this case does make more sense. And regarding the M77 Scout, Ruger made that rifle to all the specs of Col. Jeff Cooper's (pretty interesting) vision/concept. Hence the tacticool stuff added this day and age etc etc. I don't have any problem with that and I've heard the exact opposite about those scout magazines. Let's just agree to disagree and call it a night.
Col. Jeff Cooper is your "some guy". Mans the father of the modern pistol shooting stance.

My dad has one of those AK pistol kits laying around. We've found a metal shop that does gold smelting for cheaps. You know what that means! HUSSEIN AK!
There's a company around here that'll do what they call the "Saddam Special" to a short-barrelled shotgun if you buy it from them, it costs an extra $100, but they'll gold plate it and put rhinestones in it.

Just remember kids... golden AK's are cool. But Golden Deagles are better.
Just remember kids... golden AK's are cool. But Golden Deagles are better.
golden glocks are best
No man worth this name would risk the ridicule of his comrades by suggesting there are finitures other than parkerization, old shellac, cosmoline, mud and burlap sacks.
No man worth this name would risk the ridicule of his comrades by suggesting there are finitures other than parkerization, old shellac, cosmoline, mud and burlap sacks.
and bakelite+wood pulp

I said a few pages back that i got a 1911 the other day. All my parts came in and i went a head and put the thing together. I'm pretty happy about the outcome. But, I'm sure someone will complain about it. :words: edit Lol and the sweet irony of faze rating me dumb.
I like it. Its your gun, dont take shit for doing what you want to do with it (as long as its in reason, which this is).
What's the grip made of?
It is some polymer, they made it so it looks like elephant ivory. Real ivory is far to expensive, its like 300 bucks for a pair.
Compensator looks weird, rest of it looks awesome.
Its stainless steel/nickle whatever you want to call it. Can't tell from the photo because it looks dark. Didn't want the gun to be overwhelmed by black so i got that to break it up a bit. Looks far better in person.
Not rating the gun dumb...the grips are just...eh
same can be said about UTG rails. They're eh. edit page king
I said a few pages back that i got a 1911 the other day.
same can be said about UTG rails. They're eh.
Oh well. I wasn't flaming you, I hit a rating. You continued it.
You're doing better than the gun from Wanted... I mean it looks cool and all but WHY did they change the trigger guard?
They didn't. They just used this style of frame: http://olyarms.net/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.pbv.v8.tpl&product_id=125&category_id=9&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=5
I know, but that trigger guard looks soo freaking out of place. Maybe I am just too used to looking at 1911's...
So who's gonna be in Chantilly this Saturday?
I want the gun from the ISU 152 stuck in my lawn as a flagpole.
Does it shoot?
