.40S&W used to be really popular in Australia until it was banned. All the older guys at my club rave about how good it is
.40S&W used to be really popular in Australia until it was banned. All the older guys at my club rave about how good it is
it's better than 9mm or 45 ACP but fuck 10mm is literally 1000000000 times better at everything
Can I get an AR15 in the states for 600-700 online? I have a local FFL dealer.
Only a shit one, if it's not a used one that's rusted shut
I don't think you're from the states. I have seen quite a few just not sure which offhand.
Pruss is norwayman
By "range" I mean a ditch in the woods where you can pin a target to the tree nobody goes to actual ranges
I do, because I live in the city and don't have property in the woods. This is probably the only time I'll ever say this but I miss living in Arkansas. I had two acres in the middle of fucking nowhere out there. Too bad back then I only had some .22LR rifles [editline]10th May 2012[/editline]
Can I get an AR15 in the states for 600-700 online? He isn't nearly nice enough. In fact he's so angry so often I'd say he was Finnish.
I've never said I'm from the states, either? If you're paying $600-700 for a new, prebuilt AR you're getting horrible quality and possibly the upper and/or lower is proprietary and/or full or proprietary parts.
This is kinda true faze. There is the odd chance you'll find a used brand name that's actually good (Colt, S&W etc) but most AR brands that are in that price range are usually garbage. For goodness sake don't be so afraid of Google. Look on Cheaper Than Dirt, look on Impact Guns (they've cut their prices a bunch last time I was there). I'm not giving you the links because I want you to figure it out and learn how to use Google and answer your own questions.
S&W M&P-15 Sport It has no forward assist or dust cover, but it's still a perfectly fine basic gun.
I've never said I'm from the states, either? If you're paying $600-700 for a new, prebuilt AR you're getting horrible quality and possibly the upper and/or lower is proprietary and/or full or proprietary parts.
You don't know too much about building AR's
I've never been able to find something I like in a prebuilt AR
Please try again
http://www.thegunsandgearstore.com/tactical-556mm-nato223-remington-caliber-1625-inch-barrel-sights-position-collapsible-stock-black-phosphate-anodi-p-27716.html They're going as low as $666, I just picked a median price at $709. NEW For trying I give you one free internet It's a Mossberg MMR Tactical for those too lazy to click.
And MMRs aren't exactly top notch quality. I'm saying that for $600-700 you won't get a good AR, I'm not saying you won't get an AR.
That's not what you said. You said this.
If you're paying $600-700 for a new, prebuilt AR you're getting horrible quality and possibly the upper and/or lower is proprietary and/or full or proprietary parts.
Obviously this is not the case. You could make the argument that a $500 1911 isn't going to be as top notch quality as say a $1200 one, but that doesn't make the $500 one any less reliable or accurate.
Anyone own one of those Russian Vespr rifles? ( http://www.classicfirearms.co/russianveprrifles.htm ). They look nice, and was liking the look of the one that chambers 7.62x54r. Worth the money, y/n?
If you can get an AK-style weapon, there is no reason on earth to buy one of those monsters. [editline]10th May 2012[/editline] Yayy, 6000
Just got ferrets and they're running around my room. Guess I HAVE to build my gun cabinet now :v:
It doesn't look like a bad gun, but I'm mostly interested because theres one that uses 7.62x54r, which I already have tons of. any reason not to buy one?
By "range" I mean a ditch in the woods where you can pin a target to the tree nobody goes to actual ranges
I use my privately own sand quarry. I also ride quad bikes in it.
Just got ferrets and they're running around my room. Guess I HAVE to build my gun cabinet now :v:
Awwww you got ferrets? I have a ferret. They're glorious little bastards aren't they? Take some pictures
They are little thieves! ... I miss my ferret Ruby...
Yeah.. you'd have to get a .40 short and weak barrel for it.
Yeah, sorry, I wrote that yesterday before work while still half asleep. I meant to type swap for a Glock 23, and then i can buy the drop in 9mm barrel.
Do post-war (Early 50's) M44's have better quality than older, mid/pre-war ones?
Can anybody say 20x102mm shoulder fired rifle? The first round he shoots is sub sonic, the second is a full military load. Keep your eyes on the target area for the second shot
Do post-war (Early 50's) M44's have better quality than older, mid/pre-war ones?
No. the design is simple enough that you really can't make one batch better than another [editline]11th May 2012[/editline] Some of the ones with battle scars are the best performers really
Late war productions generally have worse metal quality than pre, early and post war productions.
But I thought that only really applied to, well, the losers of the war. "Last-ditch" weapons, or whatever they're called. [editline]11th May 2012[/editline] Also ever since my mother moved to Oregon she's taken to looking down upon my ownership of firearms... I foresee storm-clouds in the distance :v:
I recently fell into a sum of money, and I'm wondering what I should get. Are Classic Arms Sterlings nice? I wanna be a stormtrooper.
Give it to me, I'll pick a gun out for you, test it, and let you know how it is. Then I will proceed to keep it and send you pictures of me having fun with it, with little captions like "Wish you were here~" or "Tee hee I made him sneeze all over those pedestrians"
A remake of a British WW2 Commando silent rifle in 45.acp based of an enfield rifle for taking out sentries, fucking sweet or what?
What's even more amazing is that original De Lisles are actually quieter then the reproductions! Also... I want to buy a reproduction now... Where would I find one?
That fucking sucks. Also in a later video, he fired it safely, so he was away from the rifle and it was automatically fired. The bolt flew back at a high speed.
