So, I've got a beat up M44 stock. What should I do with it?
I measured and found that the required OAL (840mm) is perfect for cutting it down just behind the pistol grip, but I kind of want a stock, too. Any ideas?
Go for The End-style stock.
That's what I'm thinking of actually.
Also be a hero and make the new stock removable and add some of those small wooden knobs to the part of the stock you cut off so you can rebuild the stock fancily.

Jesus christ. When I stumbled upon Classic Firearms, I must have been guided by the hand of Ruger Jesus, because every other website I look at that sells guns is expensive as fuck. Every other website that has the same stuff on Classic Firearms is charging an additional 100-200+ dollars for shit. God damn.

The magazine is off of a CZ Vz. 27.
Finally sold my fish tank for $350 so I have extra gun money. Going to get a Smith & Wesson 1522 .22LR ar platform rifle from the gun store owner and a JW-2000 Coach from online.
I'm thinking of calling and canceling the coach now though. As much as I love side by sides I have enough to get that scoped nagant, or a t53 and some more 7.62x54....
Guide my gun money facepunch!

go for the scoped Mosin Nagant.
But if I get the scoped nagant I might not be able to afford the .22LR 1522 from the store owner, and I promised him I'd buy a gun from his store this time, since I already did two transfers through him.

I'd love to get a Steyr-Mannlicher M1895 but I can't find the fuckin' ammo for those anywhere. I'd love a Swiss Schmidt Rubin 1911 but I can't find the gun themselves.
A Type 53 would be nice. Or an SKS. But I can't find any non-Yugo SKS rifles.

Can you guys recommend any good websites for purchasing guns besides Aimsurplus, Atlantic Firearms, or Classic Firearms?

The loading mechanism is awesome.
Why a T53? Just get an M44, they're better built, more common and cheaper..
You keep saying that and whenever I ask you to show me where I can get an M44 you can't.
I cannot find an M44. I've looked. Unless someone else can find me one I can't get it.

What country? They sound Korean.
India. Says in the description.
Seriously why do they march like that? It's fucking retarded.

I'm down... got a Schrade Knife from when I was a Cub Scout (a long time ago in a galaxy far away). Got a Cold Steel Kukri Machete for the brush (and assorted crap jobs for a nice 18.00 beater) round the place, an old Vietnam era M-7 Bayonet and my daily carry Cold Steel AK-47. Along with a selection of multitools....

Mine came sharp as tacks. The AK is very nice and I got it for like $60 which is pretty good compared to MSRP. It's solid and light for its size. Had it for a year and still very sharp... I wouldn't use it to split wood, but I think it could if I needed to. As for the Machete 20 bucks for a razor sharp knife... handle was plastic so not great but otherwise I love it... cut down a small tree with it to see how it would hold up and its still pretty damn sharp. I can't think of a better "brand name" machete for 20 bucks... just make sure to wear a glove cause your hand will be hurting with any serious thumping. I mean for half the price you could get a Chinese one... just be prepared to sharpen it to put any edge on it.

The Kukri is crazy cheap, who knew that you could get a machete for 20 bucks :v:
I plan on getting this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00322HR3Q/
I've heard it's basically a foldable machete, plus I feel like I need some bigger knives in my collection

Your thinking the old AK with the steel frame... I got a newer model when they relaunched them, its got a G-10 handle and aluminum pommel. http://www.amazon.com/Cold-Steel-AK-47-Black-Handle/dp/B0030DHIJ0 Normally I would never try and use a folder for stuff that is meant for fix blades. But with the cold steels I feel, in a certain situation, it could work for at least a short time. I have looked at their line a lot and thought about it... but I have to say the only other knives I would have gotten are the Rajah or the Spartan. I have fallen head over heels for that gimmick thumb plate on top of the blade... it opens as quick as an auto (even quicker cause you don't have to push a button just snag it on the brim of your pant pocket).
Huh, the site says they're discontinued: http://www.coldsteel.com/ak47.html

Oh and as a side note... some one posted a picture of their dad with some dude from the jersey shore on the left. So I commented, "So.... who is the guy on the left? The one with the hair." 'ALL UNITS PREPARE FOR INCOMING SHIT STORM!'
